A huge tip of the hat to 8th Grader #10 Simon Kenton Freshmen QB Cameron Racke. This young man can indeed toss the rock and he is a name to keep in the back of you mind, for in a couple of seasons, he is going to be a force.

 

B. Dressman had a huge game for CovCath and did a great job in looking for different receivers all night long. The CovCath O-line protected him nicely and once the WR's caught the ball the SK "D" had a hard time bringing them down.

 

Another SK player to speak about was #12 WR Dillion Powell! The young man has some wheels and can fly.

Kids from Twenhofel have always been able to compete for SK. I'm assuming he's a Twenhofel student.

That isn't a question that I can answer, only passing on the information that was given to me but the kid is indeed a player!

I have only seen the second half of the Campbell game and in that game he locked on Timmerman, which I think lead to the interceptions.

How can an 8th grader play for a school he doesn't attend?

 

I have seen it happen in softball, volleyball and baseball. I am sure it happens in other sports too. There are no eligibility issues if the athlete does not attend that school for high school.

Brandon Hatton has been playing varsity basketball for Dixie since the 7th grade. A player has to be pretty special to play up from middle school.
