Agreed. Not sure how everything will pan out for Mack, but it seems like Xavier has always had a solid basketball program regardless of the head coach.

Am I correct in saying X will have EIGHT (8) scholarships to replace after this season? Tough to sign that many kids and kids that can actually play with talent if you're not UK, Duke, UNC, Kansas, or any other college bball blue blood.

All on the back of Miller's final class. The only Mack recruit to show some star power to this point was Wells and now he is gone as well. Going to be an interesting season in Norwood...

 

Xavier was consolidated with Avondale.

The only commit at this point is Chris Thomas who is a big time talent, and an even bigger head case. They are in on some quality 4 star and high 3 star kids, but are battling with quality BCS programs for all of them. If they don't end up with 2 or 3 from that bunch it is going to be trouble long term...

And with Devin Williams and Rysheed Jordan cutting them to go with less than ideal position on Roddy Peters and Josh Hart things are looking very rough for the 2013 class. Mack and his staff are struggling to tread water right now as schools kill them for running off Lyons and Wells on the recruiting trail...
