Ouch! Where is everybody that said Boone would win their district?

 

They have as good a chance as anyone of winning district. I am sure the team is not happy being 0-5, BUT... They have lost 5 games against tough competition in which they were probably underdogs. I think most would agree they have been hit by injury harder than most. They have a young team that lost 28 seniors from last year and were expected to improve as the year progressed. I will not be surprised if they run the table in district. I will not be surprised if they get beat every game. I think it would be foolish to count them out at this point.

Not surprised at Male winning, but am by the margin.

Freshman Thad Moss had his first HS TD catch in this one, a 19-yarder, and BC had the game at 13-17 in the second quarter before Male went to the air (same old story - Boone can't defend the pass) to blow the game open.

Last year I thought Boone defended the pass very well. They completely controlled Bir in the CCH game last year. Which makes me wonder is it personel that is causing issues this year?

Their defense was mostly, if not all, seniors last year. So they are inexperienced on D this year. Plus they have some players hurt, so it is what it is.

Keep your heads up Rebels still plenty of season left to play. District play is a whole new season.

After what CC did last year, I wouldn't count anyone out, Boone will be well prepared for 6A district play, unlike your vaunted Pioneers, who seem to think they play in 2A considering those are the only teams they will play.
