September 11, 201214 yr Who yelled them?, the camera was on the pitcher the whole time and he didn't mouth anything that I could tell and there is no way he could have heard him anyway. or the crowd, the dugout would have heard them. Brandon just making things up to stir up trouble because he's mad he knows he's the targeted guy because of his show boating. If he's going to make these accusations then he needs to man up and say who made them instead of going behind a tweet. I was watching the game and I could see the pitcher saying something Brandon's way after Brandon threw the ball back towards the mound. Obviously something went on as you don't usually see all 4 umpires head to the mound to break up just 2 people staring each other down.
September 11, 201214 yr Is that anything like hiding behind a name on a message board and calling someone a liar???Is that like someone going to twitter to say someone(?) hurled racist comments at them
September 11, 201214 yr Is that like someone going to twitter to say someone(?) hurled racist comments at them ...but Philips' identity was never in question when he posted that. Everyone who read it knew it was Brandon Philips' twitter account. You're right, he was not exact when he alleged that someone referred to him in a racist fashion, but at least his name was behind his accusation. You, on the other hand, are calling a very specific person a liar while hiding behind the username "All In".
September 11, 201214 yr We should have some answers shortly. I don't think BP is going to give a name though.
September 11, 201214 yr Rob Biertempfel @BiertempfelTrib Hughes, Phillips talked it out on phone. #pirates #reds Both sides put issue to rest. McCutchen was go between
September 11, 201214 yr Phillips, Hughes speak, resolve things | Cincinnati Reds Here’s what Phillips had to say today: “Last night, it was heat of the moment for me, especially being from Stone Mountain, Ga. A lot of crazy things go down. A lot of racial stuff happens in the South. I was pissed off about the situation. “We reached out, and me and Mr. Hughes had a great conversation before I came to the stadium today. It was the best thing that ever happened, just talking to him about what happened, talking to him about things that I heard and stuff. “It was great to hear what he had to say and him to hear what I had to say. It made us both feel better about the situation. I respect him as a player and a man from the conversation we had. “It was just a big misunderstanding. When you say certain things in the heat of the moment, you really don’t mean it. You forgive people. He forgave me. I forgive him. It’s the baseball family. I love him as a brother.”

The questions you raised, (who said it, what did he say) were appropriate. When Brandon was interviewed today there were about 10 microphones in front of him. The media asked the same things All In asked.
