I see them and the Reds battling in the NLCS especially if the Nationals are intent on shutting down Strasburg. Reds and Nationals are tired right now, think they are both playing 500 baseball the last 2 weeks. Its about those teams that get hot. August 28, 201214 yr Author Lohse is on pace to pitch 20+ more inning than he ever has after average about 130 the last 3 years. I think he will be burnt out come playoff time. He was pretty bad in the playoffs last year.

In April (approximately 22 games), Ryan Ludwick hit .190; Scott Rolen .186, & Brandon Phillips .254 (with a hamstring injury). Votto was only hitting .289. I think that had a lot more to do with their struggles than pitching Chapman in the 8th. In May, Bruce hit .229, Ludwick .224, Cozart .208, Stubbs .225, and Rolen .136 (in 7 games). Frazier played 22 games & hit .246. Again, that lack of production had a lot more to do with their win-loss record than where Chapman pitched.
