November 29, 201213 yr I am by no means an Abi fan but she actually showed some game skills last night. She jumped right on that advantage in the auction and then formulated her immunity idol fantasy. Still don't think she has a chance to win but wouldn't it be an interesting final 3 if she is there and the jurors, particularly RC, get a chance to interogate her. If Abi thought last week's tribal was brutal that could be really nasty. Sent from my Samsung Stratosphere using Forum Runner
November 29, 201213 yr The great Tribal Councils continue. I just love the open discussion and everyone putting it all out there. Penner yelling "Denise" as he wrote down her name was funny. His exit was also one of the best in Survivor history. Sort of reminded me if The Truman Show. I tihnk it was a good move by Skupin to get rid of Penner. He was a very persuasive game player and the challenger I would have been most concerned about if I were in the game. Penner would have been very good at the final Tribal Council. True. I wish I could have been on the tribal council just so I could point out how contradictory Penner was being. They all want to win.
November 29, 201213 yr Penner shot himself in the foot by not alligning with someone and he knew it. Malcom called him out on it at Tribal. Penner probably should have sided with Lisa and Skupin, but was scared to because he figured they'd both beat him in a final tribal council. He almost played the game in his mind too much instead of making it more simple imo.
November 29, 201213 yr In the previews for next week, what did Malcom's brother say that comes off wrong? Sounded like he said, "You look like a Colonel", but he must have said something else. I was wondering what he said, too.

First time all game she has shown any skills and the fake idol plan is genius and much different than whats been done in the past. It almost now makes you wonder if Malcolm doesnt get rid of Denise, Carter, and Mike and go the the F3 with wishy washy Lisa and pariah Abi. I might lean that way if I were him
November 30, 201213 yr wishy washy Lisa How many times and in how many ways can she say, "I'm just not cut out for this game."

November 30, 201213 yr This explains some things: Lisa Whelchel opens up about divorce: 'I still believe in marriage' - Yahoo! TV A few episodes ago, explaining why she clung to former Tandang tribemates Abi and Pete -- despite their clear contempt for her -- Whelchel said, "I have never been good at breakups. I have continued in relationships way too long just because I didn't want to hurt them." During last night's tribal council, host Jeff Probst asked her if she'd been in a similar situation of being caught between two sides. "Yes, but it's too personal to talk about," replied an emotional Whelchel. Was she thinking of her divorce? Only she can say.

It almost now makes you wonder if Malcolm doesnt get rid of Denise, Carter, and Mike and go the the F3 with wishy washy Lisa and pariah Abi. I might lean that way if I were him I said yesterday during our lunch discussion at work that I wouldn't be too surprised if Malcom tries to bring Abi in. Only I think he will keep Denise around. He easily beats Abi, and then it's the argument against Denise, who rode his coat tails to the end. A easy win for Malcolm. In fact, I'm sure it's cause I'm biased, but if Malcom is in the final 3, I think it's an easy win. Denise (Penner was also saying an easy win) will not win so easily, I don't think.
November 30, 201213 yr I'd take Carter and Abi if I were Malcolm. Denise could make a convincing argument if she is in the final 3.
November 30, 201213 yr So no one else is gonna say it? That immunity challenge was CLEARLY rigged to benefit Abi. The first two "phases" are rope mazes, then the last one (the only one she has to compete in) is just untying a bunch of stupid knots? I call bull. As soon as she got the advantage, you just knew they were gonna rig the immunity to her favor.
November 30, 201213 yr Well yeah. I've said all along there have been more puzzle challenges to benefit the less fit and nowhere near the physical challenges we've seen before. And how many of the challenges actually take place in the water? There used to be many. But then again, it's hard to work puzzles under water.

There's been more water challenges than recent seasons, but yes they are still lacking compared to what they used to do...big time.

I think the whole thing was manipulated to get her that advantage note and then make it easier for her to win -- thus turning the game on its head.
