August 16, 201214 yr I believe that Bailey definitely has the potential and it would not completely surprise me to see him in that role if they get to the postseason; a lot can happen between now and the end of September. The reason I am more sold on Arroyo right now is due to how he has played as of late along with having more experience and his numbers on the road. The Reds will be home for game 3 unless they collapse. I'm not sure everyone realizes the rule change.

Right now that would be the Nationals. I can't find anything to confirm one way or another who will get home field in the 2 v 3 seed game.

Thus if the Reds are #2 seed, they'll be on the west coast for games 1 & 2 and home games 3-5.
