Plus, he's really figuring out how to control the knuckleball so his first few years really don't matter. He's Wakefield + 10MPH's. And Wakefield was definitely not smoke and mirrors.

He magically figured all this out at 37? I agree with UKMF, he's smoke and mirrors and his numbers are starting to come back to earth.

He was sub 3.00 two years ago and just over 3.00 last year. Imagine never throwing a knuckleball for the first 30 years of your life. Yeah, it would take some getting used to.
August 16, 201214 yr The lower seeded team is home for the 1st two games of the first round. Thus if the Reds are #2 seed, they'll be on the west coast for games 1 & 2 and home games 3-5. Yep and less than half the people I talk to about this realize it. It makes zero sense to me that they did this.

There's only one guy that receives the ball from the pitcher 120 times a game.
