Only exception is to get a hardship waiver, and it would be highly unlikely to get one in the situation Pike created...

Rule #1 of scouting prospects... I think you can guess at that but you will not know until you see a player with good talent and coaching. Better coaching. More time. More reps. Better options. THEN you can know.
August 4, 201214 yr I talked to college QB recently who finished his frosh year at D1. He says he was never taught how to read D in high school so if your first option wasn't there you winged it. He said he is 5 levels ahead after one year of college when it comes to decision making due to exposure, coaching, and reps.
