Funny that there are several opinions about what the antichrist is yet the word only appears in three different passages in the Bible. According to 1 John 2:18-19 and 22 the Antichrist is more a belief then a person or dictator. IF someone denies that Jesus was the Messiah or that he came in the Flesh (2 John verse 7) then that person is the antichrist. We also learn in verses 18 and 19 that there have been several antichrists already and that they origniated from within the church.

I think that the thread title is a bit frightening.

Christ was preceded by prophets. I feel like the Antichrist will be preceded by false prophets, or "many antichrists" as John puts it.

Many think Lane Kiffin is.

I think one person will come and have powers and everyone will believe he is Jesus, this is the tribulation and when in time the real Jesus will come to earth.
