I would guess they would hope to accomplish getting people to realize that the world will not cave in when two dudes kiss each other and want to marry each other IN an establishment that is IN the news because of the stance taken by the CEO. No different than decades ago when people didn't want rights for blacks because of (literally) ignorance.

Who knows? My guess is that 45 years ago, these would have been the same people that thought they could make the Pentagon rise off the ground by force of will. I never know what people hope to accomplish with these sorts of protests. Will it change minds? Maybe. And if it does, good on them.

Gay marriage will ruin family structure and harm future generations. It doesn't matter if the CFA CEO said it or not. He caused the spotlight to be on his restaurants, thus, that's where the protests are.

I don't know. Maybe he is. Money speaks. If he donates money to organizations whose purpose is dealing with those issues, I'll believe that he is as against them as gay marriage.
