National Same-Sex Kiss Day

Featured Replies

He appears to donate to Christian organizations.

I was wondering if donated to other organizations that deal with the other violations of the sanctity of marriage.

I guess I need to pay better attention. I didn't realize the CFA CEO stated that the world would cave in if two dudes, or two women kissed. Can you please post the link where he was quoted as stating such a thing? Thanks in advance.

Not exactly caving in but "inviting God's judgment on our nation" sounds similar to an event that happened to two cities in the chapter of Genesis. :sssh:

Dan Cathy said if you support gay marriage, you "are inviting God's judgment on our nation," and that we "shake our fist at Him" when we do. Dan Cathy also said same-sex marriage is the result of a "deprived" mind and called it "twisted up kind of stuff.

Did a CEO of a company state that his Christian beliefs or values are racist or sexist?

Christian beliefs have been used to justify the same type of bigotry towards race/sex as they are now used towards sexual orientation.

Sounds like he does.

Perhaps with a different perspective you might consider homosexuality (as well as other sexual perversions) as spite towards God.

Perhaps with a different perspective you might consider standing against homosexual marriage as intolerance. We could play this game all day, is there a point here?

Yep the point is that there will never be equal footing when you argue this. For those who believe the Bible as truth, the language (old testament as well as new) is clear. No point in arguing without the same basis. It's like me arguing in Spanish, you arguing in French.

Well, as long as people continue to hide behind their bibles to espouse bigoted beliefs ...

Well that ship sailed for me. But if your beliefs aren't used to further intolerance I'm cool with them.
