August 7, 201214 yr So UL gave UK a certain amount of tickets to be sold for $78. UK offered to only season tix holders and returned the rest. Now UL is selling those same tickets for $50? What gives? Many UK fans are claiming they didn't buy them because they were priced to high, yet UL turns around and offers a $28 discount? Wow. Any explanations?
August 7, 201214 yr Author My son says UL always makes a big show of returning UK tickets. He worked in the ticket office for four years while in college at UK. UK would get an allotment and sell them all. They'd get another and sell them. They'd get a third allotment and not sell many and then UL would make a statement about how many they had to return. Fun and games.

Fun and games. 5K is a pretty standard number for a visitors allotment. UK only sold roughly 2K? Not so fun in numbers for UK this time around...

August 7, 201214 yr Money talks, big time. If they don't beat Louisville Joker is done. Bacause the best they will do in that scenario is 3-9. If they can find a way to beat U of L, that motivation could energize them to 6 maybe 7 wins. I hope Joker realizes the importance of that game and how it could determine his future at UK. No disrespect, but I do not see this team able to win 6-7 games if they played the same number of games as the basketball team. Joker and company can spin it anyway they want, but there is not a SEC competitive ballclub over on Cooper Drive in 2012.

August 8, 201214 yr How do we know UL "required" UK to sell them for $78? Honest question... I don't know. I was going off of information that I saw on Twitter from Brett Dawson. Maybe UK was doing some price gouging.
