Facebook friend criteria

Y'all...I don't care if you disagree with what I post. I typically try to post funny stuff, or updates that my far-flung friends and family would be interested in (like..."Rocks are beating X!"...or "it's going to be a girl!"...or..."I'm not aware of too many things, I know what I know if you know what I mean"....or what I cooked (often accommanied by a pic), or what I did...like mow the lawn). I will "like" some controversial things that I agree with. Sometimes I'll post a smart aleck remark about things I don't agree with. So...I sound like the kind of friend most of you would want to delete. :D It's OK if you do. I've got 300 other peeps. :D

Anyone can add me I don't mind. The more people stalking me on facebook the better, lol.

BF, as my longtime FB friend and texting buddy, if I say something wrong I want you to tell me. If I look bad, well, it's better than looking stupid by not knowing that I said something wrong. Could I get mad? It could happen...but eventually I cool off and come to my senses. :taz:
I might cool off, but long ago gave up any hope of coming to my senses.
I know. That's what I say too. But that's kind of where this whole thing got started. It seems Habib thinks Facebook is where you go to rip on your friends' opinions.

Uh, no. But if I post something controversial I'd expect comments and disagreements. It's social media, not a personal ad.

O brother. :ohbrother:

You guys can disagree with me all you want over my last FB status update, but I'm not sure what you'll find disagreeable with "Vacation! Whoo-hoo!" Of course, I'm sure there's actually some "he hates everything" people out there like the one I'm erroneously accused of being ... :D

Honestly, though, because of how much I hate FB anymore, I've all but quit posting regularly there. Didn't even realize it, but including the aforementioned post and one about a week ago talking about getting a new car, I've posted exactly five status updates since Jan. 1. Until my flurry of hot-and-heavy activity recently, the last status update for me was in February.

I missed this whole thread. Hilarious. I like facebook and like twitter even better. Facebook is PG-13 PP92 and twitter is rated R PP92.

Everytime I grill out I post what I am grilling with a can of Bud Light in the background. It's a ritual. It ain't going anywhere.

I love to post statuses that make people mad and I try to do so about once a week. I love discussion. I love arguments and I love sparking them. Especially on Facebook.

I try not to get political on there too often but I will if I am feeling it.

I will respond to any of my friend's posts any time I am feeling it. I figure if it's posted I can comment. And I will.

I make cheesy posts to my wife on Anniversary days, birthday, Valentine's Day and other assorted days to remind her how much I love her.

I probably do another annoying stuff on there as well. I seem to be the prototypical annoying Facebook friend.

All that said if you still want to friend me then by all means send me a request and let me know your BGP handle so I can put a face with a name.

I am Jason Alexander.

Look for mutual friends. If you have to click 'like' on my page....it's the wrong Jason Alexander. I have yet to get paid for acting.

I don't purposely send any game requests or calendar requests so if you get any from me let me know so I can fix it.

^ Are you on my list? I add everybody who requests, but don't go seeking people out much, unless it's some old girl from back in the day, so I can see what she looks like now.

For what it's worth, I do read others' status updates somewhat regularly; I just don't do much of my own posting on FB.

Based on a false assumption...I think I now have a new friend in Berea.
