July 10, 201214 yr I have Insight providing my cable and internet at my house. ...so I just took advantage of a golden opportunity to call and argue my monthly rate down by THIRTY DOLLARS A MONTH!!! I'd strongly suggest that anyone who has Time Warner/Insight do the same before they get things renegotiated with WLWT/NBC.

I'm with you...but that didn't stop me from calling and pitching a (somewhat staged) fit over the fact that I pay to be able to watch Channel 5 and the Olympics in HD and as of right now, I can't do that. I even brought up America's Got Talent :lol: ...which I have never watched. I got passed to an "Insight Customer Retention Specialist", and got my bill knocked down by thirty bones. If worst comes to worst, I'll be plugging in my rabbit ears and watching the Olympics on Channel 5 for free over the digital airwaves...although it won't be high-def :irked:

I believe there are 25 total channels possibly effected. However, this happens all the time, and they always seem to make a deal at the deadline.

That's how I used to get 5, 9, 12, and 19 before Directv started carrying the locals in HD.

I called 20 minutes ago and they said it could be resolved in a couple of days! LOL Couldn't get them to refund any money to me either. Must have promised too many discounts earlier today.
