I'll be curious to see how patient Brandon Hatton is before committing.

While he's not necessarily option 1 and/or 2 at some high-quality schools he may be next in line if 1 and 2 do not work out.

Good point. I hope he is able to secure the commitment he desires.

I was happy to see Jake Shulte of NCC make the list at number 23. That will go up later in the year I'm sure though as he continues to get better. A good kid also.

I would personally take Green, Grundy and Cunningham before Hatton at this point and I am a big fan of Hatton. Hatton reminds me of a JJ Redick type of basketball player. 3 point specialist. Deadeye shooter.

JJ Redick is one of my all time favorite Dukies so that's high praise from me.

Hatton has developed into much more than a shooter which is why I have him on a different level after this spring. He is using his leverage as a shooter to put it on the deck and score with a variety of mid range moves and strong finishes at the rim. Right now the only guy in the class playing better than Hatton is Snider. That has been pretty clear after watching all of the guys on the list at least 5 times since April...

Saw him in Lexington. Getting a bit stronger which will help. Great hops. Just needs to keep working at playing down low plus adding some ball skills. He has a chance to be dominant by his senior season.

I hear you. Just wondering why someone like Green has more offers than Hatton and Grundy. Is that just the nature of the beast?

Green is getting the most attention of those three because he has played well and fits the measurable size and skill high majors types look for. Hatton goes against everything you have on a scouting check sheet, but he produces again and again. Grundy is just frustrating at this point. Really hope he puts it together. All of the skills are there...

All of us are close to our programs and feel that we have a kid who should be at least on the "just missed" list, and I am no exception.

Glad to see Jake Schulte get some luv and our Drew Burns be recognized, but Alex Trentman needs to be on that list. Guess the Crons don't play in the right tournaments - lol! Regardless of whether he is there now or not, everybody will know who Trentman is come next spring.

I am well aware of this kid. I am suprised too he isn't. Mustang send Jody a e-mail about him. He asked for readers to e-mail him if they knew of any other kids.

Snider and Hatton are 1a and 1b in this class. Have been since they both reclassified in middle school. Brandon is deadly from anywhere on the floor and has improved his ball handling and is considerably more aggressive getting to the rim. Obviously, Jody is being Jody and continuing his bias against NKY athletes. Snider has always been the better ball handler and better defender.

Glad to see Schulte on the list. Kid works hard, has a great motor and isn't afraid to compete.

Ruthsatz from Cov Cath is missing from this list.

Jordan Fox has the looks and size of a potential D1 player but TODAY I'm taking Nick Ruthsatz. Tougher physically and mentally.

Agree on Troy Steward of Fleming County.

I can't put Snider and Hatton 1A and 1B when Snider is ranked 25th in the nation as a 5 star according to Scout.
