June 17, 201214 yr I agree on all points. Thom makes dumb comments all the time. They spelled Tom with an "H" in it. Obviously a sign that alot of extra stuff that's senseless is innate with that guy. Edited June 18, 201214 yr by spindoc
June 18, 201214 yr If your closer can't go 3 days in a row he shouldn't be closing. He also shouldn't start the 9th with a 4 run lead like he did Friday. Chapman shouldn't be used like a normal closer where the manager gives him stats. With him not being able to go 3 days in a row or at least their reluctance to do so I wouldn't use him every time they have a 3 run lead going to the 9th. I actually like the way he's been used by Dusty a lot. I have no issue with him not going today
June 18, 201214 yr 33-19 since April 19th. Yet people complain on a daily basis  Every good decision Dusty makes doesn't result in a win just like every bad decision doesn't result in a loss. It doesn't mean his decisions can't be looked at and even criticized. Every manager has decisions second guessed.

June 18, 201214 yr A little confused here VOR? Not sure what you were trying to say. Probably talking about Cueto throwing so many pitches his last time out. :thumb:
June 18, 201214 yr So they're just winning in spite of Dusty? You got it. Just like the other 1,500+ wins Dusty has. Dusty is #20 all time in wins. More wins than Earl Weaver, Billy Martin, Whitey Herzog, Miller Huggins, etc., etc. But of course he is an idiot here in Cincinnati.
