House Hunters is "faked" according to HLN Showbiz Tonight

Featured Replies

House Hunters admitted to them they recreate some events and they has someone that was on the show tell HLN that two of the three houses they looked at weren't even for sale, they were friends houses.

I understand it is TV and all but are we getting to a point where we can't trust what anyone tells us?

No link here, I watched the report on TV.

I often wonder how "real" some of the so-called reality shows are.

What's more frightening is that you are watching HGTV.

Hey now, I watch Holmes Inspections on Sunday nights. I have learned alot of things to look for when looking at houses.

They have some good shows on. I love Cool Tools.

There are rumors running rampant in my area that Turtleman's show is staged as well. No one can confirm it but the word is that the animals he is 'capturing' are tame animals and they agitate them for drama on television. I was told that the snake he 'captured' in Pioneer Playhouse was a pet snake and that when they put the snake in there it was cold and the snake wouldn't move so they got some portable heaters and made the room really hot and then poked and prodded the snake to make it appear like a wild snake and voila....Turtleman captures the wild snake in Pioneer Playhouse.

That's the word on the street anyways so seeing this about House Hunters doesn't surprise me.

...ain't no bubbles, ain't no life.

I hope it's faked and there's not really somebody out there like him. :D

He lives in Marion County and that is a neighboring county to us here in Boyle. I have a good friend from college that is from Marion County and he is nothing like Turtleman. I have never met anyone like him either. Folks around here light up when he is around and I have many Facebook friends that have taken pictures with him and know of a couple who have been on his show. He's a local celebrity for sure.

He can fake his show all he wants, I saw the original Youtube video of the Turtleman and there is no faking that! "Gatorade, not just for the athletes. It's for the Turtleman". Love it!

I was at the Lewis County Deer and Turkey Expo 2 yrs ago and he was there. Dude is a horndog.
