June 17, 201214 yr He lives in Marion County and that is a neighboring county to us here in Boyle. I have a good friend from college that is from Marion County and he is nothing like Turtleman. I have never met anyone like him either. Folks around here light up when he is around and I have many Facebook friends that have taken pictures with him and know of a couple who have been on his show. He's a local celebrity for sure. I have a handful of friends from Marion County (Lebanon & Springfield, to be exact) and they're nothing like Turtleman, either. But they do love underground rap music.
June 17, 201214 yr I had heard a while back that the show was fake to the point that the people were already in the process of closing on a house and they let them look at that one as well as two others for the show and act like they were picking between them. I hadn't heard that they had any houses that were not actually for sale.
