June 14, 201214 yr I liked it alot. Some things that I never saw before. Some of the Larry interviews were exerpts from the Magic/Larry 30/30 but very appropriate. Good stuff. I enjoyed the part about Chuck Daly. I don't ever recall seeing that Stockton bit either, funny.
June 14, 201214 yr Chuck was awesome. Everything he said was quotable. I remember the Angola game like it was yesterday. MJ is pompous, arrogant, cocky and why he is allowed a pass to act like he does and Kobe isn't? I'll never forget the Dream Team and watching them play and the hype and hysteria that surrounded them. I still think 2012 would beat them.

As was Coach K talking about how Chuck Daly threw the game when the college players beat the Dream Team and Bobby Hurley was talking about how they beat the Dream Team and he felt like they beat them straight up. Flash back to Coach K and he says,"they're young boys and they still believe in Santa Claus.". :lol: :lol: In the rematch the next day the Dream Team demolished the college team by 100 according to Coach K. The college team couldn't score. :lol: College team: Bobby Hurley Jamal Mashburn Allan Houston Grant Hill Chris Webber Harold Miner? Eric Montross Penny Hardaway Larry Bird quote on Webber..."if this is what is coming to the NBA then I need to get out of here." :lol:
June 14, 201214 yr Author Stockton getting off the bus in the traffic jam interviewing Americans who didn't even recognize him was great. Nearly every clip of Barkley was awesome. He's one interesting cat. Magic was clearly the leader of the team and everyone followed his lead. I knew Isiah Thomas was hated but I didn't realize it was that bad. The Jordan/Daly relationship was very interesting. What an awesome way for Bird/Magic to go out. I wish I would have been old enough to remember.

June 14, 201214 yr When they say it was like watching Picasso paint and that they weren't playing the game they were putting on a show it is how I remember it. The greatest display of basketball I have ever witnessed.
June 14, 201214 yr Summer of my Sr year of HS. Such great memories of those guys growing up. LOVED the documentary! -I don't know if there will ever be another sports Icon like Jordan. His will to win is like no other. Even the biggest dogs knew to get out of the way when it was game on! He imposed his will which is what sets him apart for me more than guys like a Lebron today. In the clutch the world couldn't wait to see what he was going to do. Loved when Magic provoked him! -Agree on the Stockton part. Funny and I felt bad for him lol. I agree on I Thomas too. No idea he was that disliked. -The rivalry of Bird/Magic might never happen again. For them to be able to come together and go out like that is just awesome! Great to remember flashback of Magic in that All Star Game sinking the big shot and winning MVP. Never seen Bird smile that much. - Barkley needs his own reality show. It would be AWESOME!! -No idea the young guys beat them! Could you imagine the celebration they had that night. Then got beat by 100 lol. Best interview I've seen w Coach K! Daily knew relationships!
