I think his team with where everyone is at now would be better than 08. Of course, we still don't know the final 12 but Kobe, Lebron, Durant set the tone for the team. CP3, Westbrook, Deron Williams, Melo, Blake, Love, Iguodala. Probably Harden, Gay. Hopefully Rondo takes Wade's spot. The Dream Team pedigree is a lot better for sure. Athletically and skill wise I think 2012 gets them. I don't think the Dream Team could stop Lebron or Durant if they had to stop them.

June 14, 201214 yr I guess because I started to watch it before they had to take it down that my window was allowed to stay open. I haven't been very productive at work this morning because I was able to finish it. I love Barkley like others have said. His quote, "If you turn the other cheek, I will hit you in the other cheek too." Had me laughing hard. Hard not to like that guy. I was very touched by the medal ceremony part and how much it meant to those guys. Gave me chills. The Stockton part was definitely hilarious. After watching that, I have more of an appreciate for how Magic and Bird went out of the game. I never really thought of it as their last good-bye to basketball. Extremely fitting.

Maybe its my biased towards him that makes me say that. But I saw competiveness, not arrogance. I have a strong respect for David Robinson. And PP92, you need to listen to Wilbon when he says, "It's an insult to compare anyone else to that team."

However, that is MJ, and his edge is what separated him from any other player in the history of the game IMO. Considering Magic and Larry didn't take offense, and agreed with MJ, I'm sure it was done in a playful manner (even though MJ meant it) so I wouldn't consider it arrogant. I can't stop now. It's all I know. Plus he's a Tar Heel. For the record, I loved the Hall of Fame speech. I mean...he flew in the guy who took his varsity spot as a sophomore and then crapped on him in the speech. :lol: :lol: From what I remember about Isiah's style of play I don't think chemistry would have been an issue. He and Magic were always close friends also.
