Im just going to say my top 5 in no particular order...Cargo, Hamilton, Kemp, Miggy and Votto...Top 5 is pretty awesome, he certianly is worthy but they all are special in their own way...

No Pujols? I know he started awful but he got back into production in May.

Personally, I don't think it was any kind of 'hotdog' play at all. And I've made it known that I dont like BP.

I think he just wasn't paying attention and had a mental lapse. Either way, it's something that should never happen.

That's exactly what it was and I've made it known that I do like BP. I love the way BP plays most of the time but every so often he does something bone headed like this. He has been picked off base when you really needed him on base and he often loses sight of what is going on in the game. I am coming in late on this thread and maybe it's been discussed but late in last night's game he had a man on 2nd with no outs and should have moved the runner to 3rd anyway he could. Even if Dusty doesn't put the bunt on he needs to be enough aware of the situation that he has to do anything nhe can to move the runner. When he doesn't he looks selfish.

No one. Old man river with a 3 bagger.

How overdue was that? Let's hope that Cairo finally comes out of his funk. We need him off the bench because there is not much there and we are playing short handed with Stubbs unavailable.

Papaw and the spidermonkey, cash. Let's give Dumsty some credit.

Why was that a hard call? What else can Valdez do better than bunt?

He sent the right man up there. Has to get some credit.

Who else was left, Meso, Negron? Dumsty probably doesn't know whether Negron's first name starts with a C or a K.

@cgarber8: Piecoro to Valdez: "Every time you've been called on, you've been able to come through." (Valdez is 9 for 49, 0 for 6 as PH)

Obviously Pic's job description doesn't call for watching the games or glancing at the "toothpick's" numbers.

He is still good and has come out of his funk a bit however for the here and now he doesnt do it for me...Everyone will be different though...

I think for me I could find a spot for him in the 15-20 range...He started out slow last year also but finished with really good numbers if he could finish again like that with identical numbers he would be top 5 for me but I dont see how thats possible...He is slowly on the decline imo

Dusty didn't do it. Spidermonkey did it on his own. And a fly ball would have worked there too. You can hate on Dumsty all you want, but he didn't do anything to tank it last night. As much as we all would like to say he did, if that's the point you're trying to make.

Hes pretty good at not getting hits and being terrible at baseball

Cincinnati Reds left-handed relief pitcher Bill Bray is schedule to throw one inning for the Dayton Dragons on Saturday, June 9 and another inning on Monday, June 11. Both games are at Fifth Third Field in Dayton. Bray will be with the Dragons on a major league injury rehabilitation assignment.

Going to predict the upset and say the Reds welcome Verlander to GABP with 6 IP, 5 ER, 11 K's and a loss. Arroyo goes 6 2/3, 4 ER, 3 K's and a win.

Not at all. There was no hating on Dusty intended. I just said it's not a hard call in that situation but as it turned out Dusty didn't make the call the players did it themselves. Me personally? I would have put the bunt on no questions asked.

And I'm sure you'd be bashing Dusty if he put the bunt on and it didn't work out.

That stinks for Berry the former Reds farmhand...He has been spectacular on Defense and very good at the dish as well, hopefully the struggling Tigers find him some at bats still with Jackson back...I know he has only had a small sample size at the Big League level but the guy has always been solid in the minors as well, he would look good in Cincinnati Red...
