June 6, 201214 yr Everytime I listen to ESPN I here, so and so is the best Big Three. I wish the fascination with this term would just go away.
June 6, 201214 yr There are a lot of Big 3s. Boston is the the original Big 3. Miami is the Superfriends. OKC is the Young Guns. Why they don't use my nicknames for them is beyond me. I haven't trademarked yet. They can have them.
June 6, 201214 yr It's refreshing almost to hear the term the "Big Three" on BGP and it no longer be referring to Male, X and T in football. As for the topic of this thread it is definitely a term that's been over used and really is an example of how much the media has over hyped the Heat.
June 6, 201214 yr Seems like every team now has a "big three" that gets referred to. I guess the NBA has turned into a game that involves 3 players per team as opposed to 5? I mean I cannot even really watch any of the pre game shows anymore because its Boston's Big 3 this, San Antonio's Big 3 that, how will OKC's young Big 3 respond, etc. etc. I say can the term. It's played out more than the term swag.....
June 6, 201214 yr I missed that one. Paraphrasing here: "Every team has a Big 3 now. What is next? The Charlotte Bobcats Big 3 of D.J. Augustin, Gerald Henderson, and Bismack Biyombo."
June 7, 201214 yr Author Paraphrasing here: "Every team has a Big 3 now. What is next? The Charlotte Bobcats Big 3 of D.J. Augustin, Gerald Henderson, and Bismack Biyombo." And the owner is the best of the bunch right now.
