Deputy sheriff punched at Trinity / St. X lacrosse game

Recommended Posts

Authorities say that after the game, a small group of people walked out onto the field. One of those individuals was 18-year-old Daylan Hall.

Someone got on the intercom and announced that if the group didn't leave the field, they would be arrested.

Hall didn't leave, and was eventually approached by a Jefferson County deputy sheriff, who was providing security for the game. Police say the deputy sheriff grabbed Hall by the shirt to escort him off the field.

At that point, Hall allegedly punched the deputy sheriff in the face, damaging his glasses and scraping his face.
