The people who run their site are wondering how their sales in the state of Kentucky has been so strong all of the sudden. Coldweatherfan you should get a finders fee or something HaHa. Thanks again for helping me out!!

Just doing my part. I know a hundred smokers, at least, that I've turned on to CI, and most of them now buy everything from CI.

Just thought I'd throw this out there in case folks didn't know. Party Source is no longer doing their Tuesday cigar nights at the Beer Cellar. It has been moved to Jefferson Hall on Levee. Still the same deal 3 for $10.00. One of the party source guys told me it was over some sort of nonsmoking battle going on down on the river.

By the way. Nick Perdomo was there last night.

And Miguel Schoedel from Torano will be there next week.

I've been buying pipe tobacco at a smoke shop here in Louisville and will probably continue to do so since it's been nice to go in and have a conversation with someone who really knows what he's talking about when browsing through the various blends. But for future cigar purposes, some of the deals they run on that site are just too good.

I wasn't going to get this but I think I'm going to now and just save it til August and give it to myself for my birthday.

I can fully appreciate that. I have a place I go locally too. I buy all my specialty things from him, and my high dollar cigars that I only buy one or two at a time.

Plus it's good to have a place to go sit and smoke and talk cigars, beer, bourbon, and politics.

Well apparently the deal has ended. I went to go place the order and it's no longer marked down.

Thanks that one worked.

Yea, I pulled the trigger on that plus a Ghurka sampler for $25. I've spent about $150 and gotten about $550 worth of smokes and accessories. I'm restocked for the summer. I only smoke a couple a week, mostly on weekends, and I've got about 125 on hand in 4 humidors. I need to consolidate and get one really nice larger furniture type humidor that holds a few hundred and displays them nicely.

Nice, I might smoke one once a month or so, usually just save them for special ocassions. Will probably enjoy a few of them as it cools down during football season.

I'm 2-3 a week in the summer and 1 a week in the winter. I won't sit outside and freeze I go to a cigar place.

A full cigar would be a lot on a January night. I love about a half-full pipe in the winter when I can go out and feel a little chill and still relax with a pipe for a short while. It's my own little tribute to my Viking forebears.

I love pipe tobacco and the aromas...especially Latakia and Perique tobacco. I own a Peterson, a savinelli, and a couple of other pipes, plus have a dozen or so unopened tins. Unfortunately, I've not quite gotten the hang of pipe smoking. It has to be packed right, tamped, and you have to have a certain cadence of puffing to keep it all going. I usually end up with a burnt tongue. Maybe when I retire, I'll have the time to figure it out.

I wondered why they changed venues but JH has much cheaper premium beer. I stopped by last night and forgot my phone which prevented me from getting a few pictures with Perdomo. They sold a ton of product last night for sure.

Thanks for the link, I purchased the humidor and also bought the 40 cigar "Motherlode 15". Tons of good cigars in that bunch, many that I haven't had the pleasure to smoke so I'm pretty stoked. It's on backorder so I hope it doesn't take too long. I figure 45 cigars should last me a few months and I will save about $200 retail.
