May 23, 201214 yr I just read an article on Masset being possibly just a little over a month from joining the club...Who would go down? Masset had had great moment and not so great...He hasnt always been the most consistent guy in my mind...The pen seems to have good chemistry going and they are gelling without him...If I had too choose I would personally send LeCure down, Simon is already a long man with better stuff and I like what I have seen from Hoover...Mabe the Reds could include him in a trade as well to a team with Bullpen issues, Yankees maybe or someone else...

May 23, 201214 yr So I didn't get to watch much of the game due to work. Not sure what has happened to the Braves in this series. IMO the Braves need to either send Minor to AAA or trade/release him. He is not helping the rotation or bullpen with his performances this season. You have Hanson, Hudson, and Beachy that can be relied on for a good outing. Delgado, jurrjens ( in AAA right now), Minor can not be counted on. Braves have a good bullpen but I'm afraid that it will be way over worked by July or August.
May 23, 201214 yr Cozart heating up...The Reds HR bats also heating up with the hot weather... Heard Welsh give an interesting stat tonight. I believe he said the league percentage of solo HRs is 54% and the Red's is 68%. The Reds need to find a way to get runners on base in front of these HRs.

Delgado isnt bad and I think will improve. Minor wasn't horrible the other day, but when he did give up a hit it was a homer :lol: Not sure about Jurrjens. What happened to him? Hope he can return to something remotely close to what he was last year before the all star break.
