REH5 Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Aaron Dunaway went over the 2000 career varsity points mark in the championship game win last week over Madison Southern at the Berea Invitational tournament . Dunaway has now scored 2003 points in his varsity career. He was named MVP of this tourney and named to the all tourney team as Henry Clay captured the tourney title.
NEERFAN Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 2,000 is a great accomplishment, really dwarfs my 36. Sounds like a great career for Dunaway.
15th Slammer Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Is there anyway that I can see the all tourney team for this tournament? Is there some thread already started about it? And congrats to Dunaway.
Bird Man Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Keep in mind that he did reach this great milestone at two different high schools; Frankfort and Henry Clay. That's what makes it impressive.
bcfan24 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Dunaway can score in bunches, he's a decent all around player, and I really enjoying watching his game when I see HC play. They'll be a tough out in the 11th region, and it wouldn't shock me if they won it again...
cshs81 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 UK better jump on him. Seriously. What are his college options (UK is not one of them).
uk96 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I watched Dunaway play this year and was very impressed with him. The thing about him is he makes everybody around him better. I am sure he will get some college offers .
Hip-Hop Box Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Seriously. What are his college options (UK is not one of them). I havent been able to keep up with him after he moved from Frankfort so I couldnt tell you. Big Ups to Dunaway. :thumb:
capitalreporter Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Congrats on one heck of an accomplishment.
FANOFTHE11th Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I was impressed with him in the 3rd and 4th grade YMCA league. He was a man among boys then and that has remained to be the case during his high school career. Congratulations!!!
TheDeuce Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 He was a pleasure to watch at Frankfort, and it seems like he has improved his game since then. Congrats to Aaron and good luck to him and HC in the future.
drew0422 Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 What HC's head coach said was that he thinks Dunnaways college options may be limited simply because hes always having fun and relaxed and makes his teamates better instead of worrying about himself, which is great for a team but not so great when youre trying to get a bigtime scholarship. He can shoot the ball though im sure lots of teams would like him.
