Any update on who's playing well at the peach jam and up in Indianapolis? Players teams etc...

 

I am in Indy. The only KY team in the platinum is the Spiece Ky Gators. They start the championship bracket tomorrow afternoon against the Spiece Higher Level. As for the KY team, they have been led by Josh Payne and Austin Hunt who have had 3 solid games apiece. The Spiece Northwest team is very good and have a point guard headed to Purdue and Eric Gordon is solid and long. Great facility and atmosphere. I'll be here tomorrow for awhile and I'll try to update.

Club Ohio had a good run at the Super Showcase in Orlando. Just lost the semi-finals tonight to Boston Metro. St Henry's Connor Kunstek is a starter for Club Ohio.

How is Connor looking this summer?

I stopped in the expo today in Louisville and saw Ky Elite play. A handful of coaches were watching including an NKU assistant. Amazing seeing 18 courts under the same roof. Amazing to pay $8.00 to park (no re entry) and $10.00 each day too. I felt it was sort of pricey.

Pretty much everyone will be. I'm heading out in the morning and taking Jim Schue with me for the action this year...

 

Is Luke Kenard there with the King James team? If so how are they doing?

Here is what I could find on the Peach Jam and Randle.

 

In the most entertaining game of the EYBL Finals at Nike Peach Jam to date, Tyus Jones and his undersized Howard Pulley Panthers defeated Julius Randle and the Texas Titans 74-65 on Friday morning.

 

Jones, a 6-foot-1 point guard who is the No. 3 player in the Class of 2014, and Randle, a 6-foot-9 stud who is the No. 2 player in the Class of 2013, put on a show for the countless coaches who crowded around Court 3. All three Triangle schools are in the mix for Randle, and Duke is high on Jones' list.

 

Jones finished with 27 points (on 11-for-19 shooting), eight assists, four rebounds and two turnovers. Randle had 31 points (on 11-for-25 shooting), 17 rebounds and six turnovers against Howard Pulley's zone.

 

Jones hit a clutch 3-pointer in the closing minutes, and Howard Pulley held a 66-65 lead in the final minute before Jones fed Jamal Davis for a jumper from the top of the key. He swished a long two-pointer over Randle, and the Panthers scored in transition after a Titans miss.

Andrew Wiggins has made Peach Jam his personal playground so far. He dominated Julia Randle last night. Unreal the level he is playing at right now.

 

James Young and Aaron Gordon have had great weeks so far. Tyus Jones has established himself as the top PG recruit regardless of class. Thought Cat Barber and Troy Williams looked really good when I saw them...

Luke Kennard is in Orlando and will play in the championship today at 4:30. Luke has led his team in scoring in all their games. Just finished talking to his Dad.
