I know I'm getting way ahead of myself, but I have to ask the question now because Florida and Louisville play before Kentucky takes the court again. Which team would you rather see Kentucky play in the National Semi Final game and why?

Neither. LOL. It would be hard to beat Florida a 4th time and UL is playing great right now.

I said when the brackets came out that Baylor was the only team in the South region that worried me. they are so long and athletic.

For me it would be Florida. I know it would be really tough to beat a good Florida team 4 times in one season, but I like their chances much better against the Gators than I do the Cards.

If the Cats make it, they'll have to play one of them. Man up, and make your pick.

I feel Florida would be the easier game, but I'd rather SEE us play UL in the Final Four. Would definitely be a fun game to watch.

As a state of Kentucky fan and/or as a general basketball fan, I'd like to see Louisville. I think a UK/UL matchup would be epic. As a Kentucky Wildcat fan, I'd rather see Florida. Much will be made about them having played and beaten them 3 times and the difficulty of beating them a 4th. I don't care. Louisville is a better team and more dangerous. I know what Florida is. They are a team that if they don't hit their threes have no appreciable shot. There's a reason UK has beaten them 3 times. They do not scare me at all.

I'm picking UofL strictly because of offensive production. I think Florida has the potential to outscore us...

Do you feel that if it is Kentucky/Louisville that whatever team comes out of the other semifinal will have an advantage because the winner of the other game will be so drained from playing such a huge rival in the Final Four?

I definitely agree with that. The mental aspect will be big.

Not especially. Rival or not, the other matchup will be just as difficult.

I would love for it to come down to the Cards and Wildcats in the final four for plenty of reasons, which I will name a few of.

First, it will be incredibly fun to watch. Second, this would be a huge thing for the state; and the chances of it ever being this close to happening again is virtually little to none. And last, as a fan, I would love for more than anything the chance at beating UK on the biggest stage you could ever be on, which I'm sure is the same feeling that many UK fans have as well.

If this game does happen, the rivalry is going to intensify just a bit more regardless of the outcome.

Florida. I have a lot of UofL alum as friends and would never be able to live it down if they were to knock off the Cats in the FF. Although neither is ideal as beating a team 4 times in a season is darn near impossible.

I would rather face UL. Florida is a very good team and UK probably beats them 8 out of 10 times. We already used 3 of those. I would love the talk all week about the game and Cal versus Pitino.
