March 17, 201214 yr Is the stereotype die hard fans who love their team. "Bobby Knight doesn't like us." "Billy Packer doesn't like us." "That ESPN guy said IU could beat UK." "UPS is mean." "NCAA hates us. They put us in with Duke." As soon as something comes across as not bowing down to the kingdom of Lexington UK fans lose their minds. It just reinforces the stereotype of myopic non-thinking fans.
March 17, 201214 yr And who can't get over something that happened 20 years ago which in the grand scheme of the world and life was and still is insignificant. So UPS uses the most famous shot in college basketball history in their commercial and somehow it's a slap at UK. Silly , silly, silly.
March 17, 201214 yr So UPS uses the most famous shot in college basketball history in their commercial and somehow it's a slap at UK. Silly , silly, silly. How dare they celebrate one of the most amazing plays in college basketball history! I bet they are all secretly UL, IU and UT fans at UPS.
March 17, 201214 yr Funny that people are offended by this commercial. As a huge UK fan, my fan soul was cleansed big time in 1998. Down 17 with 9:41 to play.............nuff said.

Absolutely hilarious post and so true.
March 17, 201214 yr Maybe in 2032 the selection committee can pair Duke with Lehigh to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the beat down. Or maybe we can use UPS to overnight Coach K and lil Wojo their final four tickets. Hey Duke, look what brown did to you!
March 17, 201214 yr FedEx should do a commercial on how easy it is to deliver a package if no one puts any obstacles in the way.
March 17, 201214 yr I guess it's all about how you look at things. I love any reference to this game. I'm of the camp that is proud that UK was part of, what is still considered, the greatest college basketball game ever played. This commercial keeps "The Game" at that lofty status.
