One thing that seperates Coach Cal from a lot of others is that I feel like he could leave coaching and go into the Business World and be immediately successful. He's very shrewd, a PR/Martketing wiz (at least in his field currently) and I think this all translates into him being able to recruit so well!
March 7, 201214 yr If Cal wins the SEC tournament and the NCAA tournament, he will cash in for an additional $750,000.00. He will also start getting retention bonuses beginning on 3/31/14. Money will never be an issue while at UK. Pitino said leaving the best job in basketball was his biggest career mistake. Cal is not going anywhere.
