I would think they will both be starters but I am not a Raiders expert. Bowers is awesome but I believe Mayer is the complete package right now.

For a little context, this is what Calpreps says about 2023: Owensboro Catholic 35 Paducah Tilghman 34 Boyle County 42 Paducah Tilghman 14 =================== So if OC does hang with PT that could mean OC is the top 2A team in Kentucky and PT has no chance against Boyle. Or put another way, you could say the same thing about Tilghman (using Mayfield) from last year. Mayfield was right there with PT but PT probably didn't have much of a chance against Boyle. So to come full circle, if Tilghman doesn't mostly dominate against OC in their scrimmage I am not sure Tilghman would have a very good chance of beating Boyle.
