  1. It hasn’t been announced yet but Travis Burns is the new Head Coach at Pulaski. Just confirmed by AD few moments ago.
  2. Just got word from very reliable source, Decision is coming out today. Burns was contacted by AD yesterday saying so. Travis Burns or Eddie James, PC is getting a good hire. Look for it to come out this afternoon.
  3. If you know anything about Pulaski County administration, there’s a good chance he’ll never be contacted about not getting job. they’re notoriously known for just “ghosting” people.
  4. Coach Has been placed. Coming out tomorrow for sure. his name has not been mentioned before. this guy has a very impressive resume. Pulaski got a good guy for this position. I'm gonna let the administration announce it, cause its not my place to do so. But let’s just say people are gonna be surprised! Congrats Pulaski County!
  5. Hearing from some pretty reliable sources now that Burns might not be the shoe in that everyone thinks. Apparently there has been an applicant that has stayed on the low that has a pretty impressive resume. Who knows though, it’s all talk when a job like this is posted. I still fully expect the new HC to be announced Tomorrow.
  6. Foley gets an extra stipend already. That was apart of his contract when he took the job. He wasn’t leaving Taylor Co without some extra money. They do it in various different ways that is legal of course but could also be considered sketchy.
  7. Burns originally turned the job down early last week. But something happened between then and now that has shifted his mindset that he wants the job. They’re having some interviews on Thursday. But I fully expect an announcement of Travis Burns to be the Head Coach on Friday. I do know it’s been a chaotic hiring process, so I’m sure that all parties involved will be glad when all this is over with.
  8. Announcement will be official by Friday according to my sources.
  9. Two names are floating. Travis Burns and Josh Roberts. it’s down to those two. Burns took a tour of the school the other day with his interview because he was unfamiliar with the campus. That’s when speculations of him getting the job started swirling. I expect the HC name to be released late this week or early next week.
  10. My understanding. Travis Burns, Josh Roberts and there is one more that has been closed off from people knowing. personal thoughts, it’s probably Chad Griffin from Hart County or Stonebreaker
  11. Interviews begin today. They’ve pushed this process up two weeks. They’ve got their guys they have narrowed it down to. expect an announcement to be made sometime next week.
  12. A lot of the independent school systems have this. And there are actually a couple public schools as well. A lot of it comes down if the administration from the top wants to see their athletic programs succeed, they will find and use resources to have this “pool” of money so that they can pay their head coaches well, and so that these coaches can go out and get the assistant coaches they want to have apart of their staff as well.
  13. Yes. $13,000 is correct, but the big thing with Pulaski County is that there isn’t a “pool” of money to pull from unlike a lot of other schools in the state, or basically there is no “Alumni Funding” to help pay the coach. So far there has only been 4 confirmed applicants, and think there is only gonna be a couple more to apply.
  14. This is 100% accurate. looking like it’s gonna come down to a couple things. Is the administration gonna stay somewhat in house with either G.J. Wooldridge or Josh Roberts. Or go completely out of it and start completely new. This Job is very appealing, but the pay of the job will deter some people from taking the job.
