  1. Lets hope this one is as good as the last one :thumb: It is still 6 days away. But right now they are calling for sunny and in the 50's on Friday with a low in the 30's.
  2. Looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, smells like a duck.......................Must be a DUCK !!!!
  3. Lets hope they both win this week. I changed my work schedule to be off next Fri for the big rematch. :thumb:
  4. You had to bring up the buses again.
  5. This is on NKY.com. Junior running back Travis Elliott racked up 130 yards and three touchdowns on seven first-half carries - the longest a 63-yard touchdown with less than a minute left in the second quarter to give Ryle a 40-0 lead at the break. Elliott didn’t play in the second half and most of Ryle’s starters were on the sidelines for good early in the third quarter. But not before stuffing their stat lines. Senior defensive back Luke Boggs picked off a pass and returned a first-half punt for a 54-yard touchdown. Senior Deion Mullens bolted for a 53-yard score out of the backfield and recorded a sack on defense. Ryan Smith and Kohry Thibodeau both caught their first touchdown passes of the season. Smith, used largely as a defensive back, entered the game with one catch all year. Yet quarterback Conner Hempel targeted him three times on Ryle’s opening drive, including a 17-yard touchdown pass for the first of the Raiders’ many scores. By the midway point of the fourth quarter the Raider freshman were on the field, contributing to Ryle’s gaudy scoring total with a 32-yard touchdown run by Thomas Baumann.
  6. Thanks for the info. So IF SK beat Henry Clay. And IF SK beat Ryle then SK would be at home against Trinity. Maybe they should start shaking in their boots.
  7. SK is a #2 and Trinity is a #1. So if they both make it to week 4 ( I'm sure Trinity will be there) the game should be at Trinity???
  8. For NKY Friday night they are calling for a mix of rain with snow.
  9. Maybe its time for this thread to be closed. The bottom line is SK will not man up and play Highlands.
  10. I think a lot of people are over looking Henry Clay. I don't think SK and win again in Lexington. Not so sure Ryle will be able too. Trinity should win all their games by at least 4 TDs.
  11. For what its worth their Strength of Schedule : Highlahds - 28.6 John Hardin - 5.5
  12. I hope Conner can pull the upset. I just don't see them out scoring H.C. I say H.C. 49 - Conner 35
  13. I have a feeling that the rest of 5A is going to pay for last weeks lose. Highlands is focused and angry.
  14. 1 Ryle 106 (7) @ Madison Central 2 Highlands 102 (4) 3 Simon Kenton 85 vs. Tates Creek 4 Newport Catholic 64 L 39-40 vs. Beechwood 5 Covington Catholic 62 L 19-40 vs. St. Xavier, KY 6 Dixie Heights 50 7 Beechwood 48 W 40-39 vs. Newport Catholic 8 Holmes 39 vs. West Jessamine 9 Campbell County 26 @ George Rogers Clark 10 Conner 10 @ Henry Clay
  15. Congrats to his mother and father. One of the finest young men I have ever met.
  16. Huge win for the Raiders. Outstanding job by the Ryle coaching staff. Players on both teams played their hearts out. Highlands players and coaches showed a lot of class. This is what High School football should be. :thumb:
  17. You know this makes Ryle and Highlands both numbers 2 or 3. Becouse we all know Simon Kenton is #1. I just had to say it before you know did.
  18. UNION, Ky. - Ryle High School will be dismissed early Thursday morning after a transformer malfunction left the school without power. Students will be dismissed at 10 a.m. School officials say they cannot repair the transformer until the late afternoon, but school will be in session tomorrow. Laurie Walton of Boone County Schools says that the football game Thursday night is in question. Walton says whether the game will happen or not depends on Duke Energy's progress on repairing the transformer.
