Manual vs St.Xavier
I just talked to a Coach at Manual that just talked to the AD at Manual. The Head Coach was told the Game will be at Manual, Manual will be on the Home side of the Field, Manual will have the home Lockerrooms, and Manual will wear Red. It will be a St. X home game, but Manual will have all the normal places they have during a regular season St. X Manual game when Manual is the visiting team.

Manual vs St.Xavier
Not to doubt Tony Danza, but from my understanding now is that it will be at Manual but Manual is on the Manual pressbox sidelines and in their own lockerroom. I have a call in to somebody that can confirm this but my understanding is that it will be a St.X home game, but under the normal conditions of a St.X homegame verses Manual. Ie. Manual is on home side and lockerrooms.

Two Big Rematches in Louisville Next Friday!
NO not at all, it is not that. The issue is that it is a St. X home game. But St.X if calls Manual and asked if we would go to the visitor locker rooms and have Manual fans sit on the visitors side of the stadium Manual will not agree to it or rent out the stadium under those conditions. You can understand both sides, I mean if I was St. X and had earned Homefield advantage I would want the perks of being the home team. But if I am Manual and I own the stadium and it is our home field I am not going to want to see Tigers in the Joe Hutt Fieldhouse while the Crimsons are in the vistors lockeroom. So the right thing to do is to play it somewhere else and give St. X the homefield they earned while not disrespecting the Crimsons by making them visitors in their own house.

Two Big Rematches in Louisville Next Friday!
I don't imagine the game will be held at Manual Stadium. Maybe a double header at Trinity? Trinity vs. Fern Creek Manual Vs. St.X that would be a nice gate right there... Anyway, I know ram2003 has pointed this out before, but for Manual to win the 4A crown and assuming the higher seeds win out, Manual would have to play St.X, then Male then Warren Central, then Trinity, all away. For those playing at home, those are the only four teams to have beaten Manual this year.

Where is John hardin in BGP 4a Poll
It's like this. I understand what you are saying, but if Manual played the same schedule as John Hardin it is really hard to think that they would not be 6-0. We might well find out if John Hardin can beat Manual in the playoffs, but as of right now JH hasn't played anyone, Manual has played the #1 #3 and #4 teams and lost by a total of 21 points, and they have #2 Male coming up, they dominated the other teams they have played. John Hardin hasn't played those caliber of teams.

Who is the best student-manager in South Eastern Kentucky?
I hear the kid at Rockcastle is pretty good.
-
Who is the team that your team wants to beat more than anyone else?
Male. I don't I care as much about St. X because when I played we did beat them once. So for me Male is the one that got away.

Romania was Dracula, and they did stake him in Romania. I cite Bram Stoker's Draclua (it is a book not just a movie) Germany was Frankenstein's monster, but according to the book ( Mary Shelly wrote the original book, once again not just a movie) he got away. Get it right. Germany said they won't help so I guess we won't be joined by the powerful German pitch forks anytime soon. :sssh: Gosh I am noticing a trend :sssh:

War protesters ?
Thats a great quote but has nothing to do with what I am talking about. I was a ROTC Cadet and I know that means diddly squat when it comes to understanding war. But as a person that listened to what my grandfather went through, calmed him down through the night sweats and the screams, had to get the rifle and guns out of the house, I am an expert on how that effected him and me. I may never know combat but I do know the effect it has on the survivors. That was what I am saying. I am sure that means nothing to you, but it means a lot to me. I will never be a soldier, but I am still entitled to my opinion as an informed American, last time I checked combat vets, rear echelon troops and civilians all still had the same rights. I respect vets, more than you will ever know, I was raised by them, surrounded by them all my life and cared for them as they cared for me. I tried to join up myself, but that was not meant to be. I did volunteer thats the best I could do. Besides my Grandpa hated Patton, he always said he would rather have shoot him then alot of Germans;) he was kidding, I think...

Siderliner I have six cousins in the military, one more that is at the Air Force Academy. Of the six enlisted cousins I don't know were 4 of them are right now because it is classified. I don't need a website to find soldiers to write too, I email them direct because we share the same blood and if it weren't for medical reasons I found I had during the MEPS process I would likely be an Officer myself right now. I took care of my ailiing Grandfather during the last year of his life. He was a combat Engineer in the 171st engineers from Normandy to Berlin, you will never hear anything about his unit because of the 1000 boys that left Colorado Springs Camp Carlson only 27 came home alive. Most of them died at a bridge at some town called Remagden or something. Towards the end of his life he had nightmares that only allowed him to sleep a couple of hours a night. He told me about how he had to kill bridge guards using piano wire and a bayonet so he could set explosives. How it smelled when they used flamethrowers to clear a pillbox. What happened when he was walking upstairs when they where clearing a building and a German boy no more then 14 or 15 years old came down pointing a gun at him. I may never have fought for my country and I may never be allowed to, but I do understand the sacrifice that these people on both sides face. I was one on here that told people to chill out and wait earlier. But in my opinion time is up. I think it is healthy for people to have differing opinions than mine, I just think they need to protest responsibly and not ally with groups that want to violently overthrow the US government. It seems to me that people are selectively read my post or not reading them at all because I clearly stated that there are legit reasons to protest the war. I didn't call or imply that anyone here WAS a Communist. I just don't agree with legit protesters allying themselves with subsersive groups. Sorry if you don't understand my meaning, but thats ok it is a free country. My Grandfathers, father and cousins saw/are seeing to that.

I hope we can get hydrogen fuel cells so oil is no longer an issue. Then of course the middle east will have real bad economic problems and we will probably be blamed for that too.

War protesters ?
This is true but then again so were FDR and Stalin, but they still got together to fight a common foe. That is very common in history. I agree evidence is weak, and we americans don't have alot of trust in our government and for good reasons, but I am willing to trust them on this one. Some other examples, of former enemies joining to face a greater foe; The French and British against the Germans World War I and II, Mao's Communist Chinese Army and the United States verses Japan World War II. GI Joe and Cobra Commander verses Serpentor, In Arise Serpentor Arise. Elves, Men and Dwarves verses Sauron in the War of the Ring I and II.....

I didn't call you names Sideliner. :( At least I didn't mean to, I was refering to the placard holders and the people who marched in Communist China and north Korean sponsered rallies mainly in Washington and San Francisco, London and Paris. If that wasn't clear or that actually does apply to you sorry. If you read my post carefully I do appreciate peoples right to free assembly, and I think there is plenty of room for disagreement on this issue. For instance I disagree with Rockmom and she disagrees with me but I totally respect Rockmom's point of view and her right to say what she said. It was a very well thought out and well stated valid point of view. People can protest, but I think they should organize there own protest with there own issues to voice not just join up with revolutionarys to call Bush stupid. Is calling Bush stupid what you really want to say or do you want more time for inspections? I will defend all their rights to say whatever they want to, but I think that intellegent people would protest intelligent messages like "Give the inspections more time, or War never solves anything. Not Bush is Hitler. So I think for a person to join a protest rally that wants to stop the war should know who is sponsering the rally. I think it is stupid to march in a rally when you don't know who is organizing it, or if that group is in favor of the violent overthrow of the U.S. government, you know since that is well illegal. I am sorry you feel that way about my moderating job status, I really only moderate Outdoors forum, I do let other mods know if something is way bad in the others but I don't control them. A mod should be held higher standard though. I think I do an ok job but hey everyone is entitled to there own opinion. I do get real blunt in my statements but sometimes it is just to get things fired up a bit and get things stirring. If I have offended you then mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa, I am sorry.

War protesters ?
They sure seem to think so. If the protesters can say it way can't I. You have a good point Sideliner. If you are trying to get others to see things your way then you should not insult them. However I am not trying to convert people to my opinion, the people I am talking about will never agree with me. Most people have already picked a dog in this fight. I am expressing my frustration and opinion of the situation, much in the same futile way they are, by taking advantage of my first amendment rights. So I guess to answer your question, I am not arguing a point, there is no argument at all, I am expressing my opinion and waiting others to post their's.

War protesters ?
My comments were geared toward mostly to U.S. protesters and those U.S. and U.K. protesters that went to Iraq to pass out fliers to Iraqi civilians and soldiers that say We are with you, and burn American flags. As far as the British and French protesters, I feel those protesters are dooped as well though but different groups. They are not traitors or enemies, just dooped and ignorant.

War protesters ?
The biggest problem I have with the protestors is that they rally to protest the United States, but they never say anything bad about Saddam. These protestors are free to say what they want to about our Government because they live in a free society. But in Iraq they can only protest against the U.S. if they protested against Saddam they would be killed. All the signs I have seen attack Bush, and the U.S. calling them baby killers, not one of them is worried what Saddam is did to babies in Kuwait, or Kurdishs babys or Iranian babies. The people that are in these protest are being led by the nose by militant Anti-American groups that support the overthrow of the American Government. Many of these groups recieve funding from China and North Korea. I am sure there are protesters with legit feelings but aligning themselves with hypocrites and traitor, and hippies that became yuppies and now want to relive the good old day and redeem themselves for the evils things they did in their corperate careers is wrong and I don't think can be justified even with the best of intentions. While I imagine that most the protestors there weren't really in favor of the violent overthrow of the American Government I saddens me that these so called enlightened and educated liberal thinkers are so easily dooped into being the pawns and voice boxes for these types of groups. While it is the right of any good person to have a misguided view that they are entitled to hold it seems to me to reflect on how stupid people get when massed together. Most the group is probably good hard working Democrats that just hate the current administration. But their ignorance of who the organizers of the rally they are at is borderline criminal if not completely stupid. What people like that need to do is regain credibilty by staging their own protest, ones that attack the issues they really are upset about not attacking the U.S. and calling the President names. All that does is make the mainstream hate them and ignore them even when they have something legit to contribute.

Actually I think Red71 was still on track there PepRock. The original causes of the Iran Iraq war are somewhat based on Religion, Iraq is mostly Shiite, what Saddam claims to be is Sunni and the Sunni Minority in Iraq rules over the Shiite minority though I agree no good muslim would act like Saddam has, he doesn't claim to be atheist on the contrary he has envoked Allah many times to condemn us. The Kurds and the Iranians are Shiite Muslims. The Kurds felt a religous obligations toward the Iranians and supported them so Saddam gased them. So it is as much a religous reason as Hitler gasing Jewish Germans. Lets face it Hitler was not exactly a great Christian anymore than Saddam is a great Muslim.

One question, where does it say that other countries need to like us? I don't really care if they like us or not. I don't mean to knock anyone else on here's opinion but I think that Saddam Hussein poses a threat to us simply by staying in power, because if a third world bully like him can spit in the face of the US and the UN than all the other two bit dictators and Bin Ladens will continue to see us as a viable target. There is a time for peace and a time for war. We have been trying for twelve years for peace with no avail. Now we have lost 2000 people in the twin towers, how many more have to die before it is ok to remove the dictators and Terrorist. Neville Chamberlain wanted peace, and the French and Germans were lauding his wisdom, look where that got us. I was all for the 1441 resolution and looking for a peaceful way out of this. But time is up.

Wow this is a huge surprise the Germans are backing a dictator that gases his own people because of religious differences, and the French happly go along with it because they fear military action, and the Germans, oh and they disagree with the Brits and have economic interest at stake. Who would have seen that coming?

War protesters ?
They have a right to protest no doubt, but we also have a right to ignore those ignorant snots. I think they are some really misinformed people that have been brought up to distrust the American Government and people no matter what, and those people are joining up with ultra left wackoos, and legitmate peace loving but deluded folks to make alot of noise, but we have seen them before, during the Gulf war, during Viet Nam. The hippys, Communists, Socialists, Terrorists, get in front of the cameras the Democrats arrange for them. The Democratic leaders don't really believe in what they have to say, but they make sure the news stations are informed of when and where the rallies will be and the press is out in force for them because the Democrats have a political reason to protest war it makes the current Administration look bad. If a Democrat were in office we would not hear much protesting, after all Bill Clinton bombed Iraq after the Monica thing broke and you didn' t hear any protesting. The best way to deal with these is to pat them on the head like the whining rich kids they usually are and ignore them, because that is what they hate most. Most of their parents didn't hug them enough as children, so they do this to get attention. They aren't Traitors they have the right to complain, but we have the right to blow them off and ignore them too.
