  1. Today at around 6:30 pm Matthew Dye,Christian Chasteen and Drew Thompson signed to play there college ball with coach Robert Taylor and the Pikeville Bears. All are outstanding young men and will be great players at the next level. That brings the total number from Harrison County to 4 who will be playing at the next level. Congratulation on your state tournament Championship you make us all proud.
  2. Lot's of construction going on at the school long walk from parking to field and bring a chair not many place's to set.
  3. Matthew Dye did have tj surgery in Aug is currently in pt last Dr's. appt. was great said he could start throwing and swinging a bat in Dec. and all is a go for his senior seasons.
  4. Dye went 4 for 4 with all being standup doubles.
  5. They play T-ball 4-6 year olds coach pitch 7-8 year olds and just switched to little league this year from Cal Ripken.
  6. The 2008 roster list him as freshman, I'm pretty sure he is a sophomore this year but I could be wrong.
  7. I think 4 doubles in a single game ties state record can this be confirmed.Ryan is a sophomore i'm pretty sure.
  8. He did manage a 15 year old team. But only 2 or 3 kids had much experience playing high school baseball. Just trying to give the young guys experience in tournament situation.
  9. Harrison County is going to be the team to beat, I don't think they will have much competition. They have alot of solid juniors, and sophmores.
  10. The graduates from Cambell,Bishop Brossart and Newport Catholic.
  11. Maybe ask the Cutter Construction team if Harrison lost many steps since graduation.
  12. To beat them you will have to out score them. Most of their runs were scored in part due to the bats of the Sophmore class and the freshmen. Harrison will have some very good young pitching also.
  13. Most of them kids are still just 15 regardless of how many games they have played.
