From what I've heard Ryle is supposed to be pretty decent. But DD is right, the game isn't played on paper...we'll be ready to play Wednesday and we won't bring any paper with us, guaranteed.

Shelby wins Semi-State 3, 2-1.

Great to see he went so high, He's got a lot of talent and hopefully he'll represent KY to the fullest. Plus now I can say I struck out a Major Leaguer. Good luck to him and I hope he makes the best of his opportunity!

Good game. We led up until the 6th inning, when we gave up 5 runs on maybe 1 or 2 hits. Mental mistakes made the difference. Can't wait for tonight, should be a great game.

Any information on showcases this summer??

I know Alvey played for Butler last year, but I'm not sure about now.

It's at Nelson Co. Not sure when yet, drawing is on Sunday

Just more motivation. Right now were putting everything together and playing the best ball we've played all season. Can't wait to see them next week.

Throws mid to high 80's not 90's. Very nasty stuff, and one of the most underrated pitchers in the state.

They beat Eastern, for the District title, then knock out Male from the 7th Region tourney. Where's all this coming from?

we (shelby co.) beat walton 9-5 after getting down 5-0 in the 3rd.

thanks ref...actually neither of those. i'm a player for shelby county.

who pitched for franklin?

yeah they did...5-0 i think. saw the team at BW3's celebrating

Yeah Oldham is tough, we beat them earlier this year...but I think they threw their number 4 or 5 starter, which is no where near the talent 1-3. One team that worries me is Owen, they've got 2 pitchers that can hang with just about anybody in the state.

who do you all think will win the 8th region this year?

Campell Co. played well, and not to take anything away from them, but we were playing w/o two of our top pitchers and also had a few people sitting for various resons. Campell played well though and did what they had to do to win. You all have a quality team and it showed against us.
