Don't know too much about Shelby Co pitching yet, but Coach Roesel uaually does not make a decission until gametime. All four starters are rested and ready, Hughes, Weis, Hatfield and Collins and if needed he will have Campbell,

Seabald, Layne and Rieder in for Relief. I think Pat will try to win the one he is in. With a potential Wed. Fri Sat. schedule, you do have to plan well.

Great matchup for Ryle!

I like Ryle's chances. They are really playing great ball right now and their offense is really coming around. That and having 4 potential aces to put on the mound never hurts.

From what I've heard Ryle is supposed to be pretty decent. But DD is right, the game isn't played on paper...we'll be ready to play Wednesday and we won't bring any paper with us, guaranteed.

I understand Ryle is loaded with Senior starters. What about Shelby County?

In all we have 9 seniors but of the 9 we start 4. We also start 4 juniors, and 1 sophomore...which all either started or played a big role on last year's team.

Did Shelby's ace pitch in any of the above?

DD was told at the Kentucky Colonels game today by someone in the know that if Shelby throws the pitcher that he saw, he threw a mid 80's fastball and if he can get his curve over the plate (and the "if" being a big "if") he can be tough. He felt Ryle would win, but they shouldn't take Shelby lightly.
