Bishop Brossart Vs Deming 2/16
Brossart has been playing very good lately. They are finally starting to play together and what better of a time to be playing your best ball. I'll take Brossart 59-45.

Best Pitchers in the 10th Region
Ha. Mutsch never pitched against Harrison County in the regional. He pitched in the first round against St. Pats. Chris Simon pitched against Harrison in the regional semi-finals.

Best Pitchers in the 10th Region
Not true at all. First off if your going to talk about players try spelling their names right. MUTSCH very rarely pitched against big teams since he didn't have one of his best years last year and when he did pitch he would be pulled early on. UEBEL was Brossart's go to guy last year as he was a great pitcher. Chris Simon was also another good pitcher. I mean he did beat Clark County in their tournament. As for Verst not pitcing against any quality teams. He shut out Johnson Central (who did go to the state tournament at Applebee's) 10-0 and as I said earlier he beat the Kentucky Kings over the summer. I would say you have to be pretty good to do that.

Best Pitchers in the 10th Region
I completely agree. Defense will be fine as they have very solid defensive players who don't beat themselves. that is the key to any team winning. However hitting will be the deciding factor for the Mustangs this year as the have only 2 or 3 guys who have even seen Varsity pitching ever. They will struggle early but I can only hope they will get better as the year goes on.

Best Pitchers in the 10th Region
I'm not sure why everyone thinks that Woodruff is such a great pitcher. Yea He is good but he doesn't throw all that hard and he is not as great as people think. My opinion for one of the top in the region probably number 1 or 2, is Tyler Verst of Bishop Brossart. He is a very good pitcher who I believe beat the Kentucky Kings over the summer and had a 6-0 reccord last season. The only person that I think could match up with him is Martin from Harrison. Other than him I believe Verst is the best in the region.

Best Pitchers in the 10th Region
Set Em Up, while I agree with this statement and the statement that they will not be as good as everyone thinks they will, weren't you the one who sadi that Campbell's pitching staff will be very deep this year. I Completely agree with you that they won't be as good as they think they will and about the partying thing but I just feel like you are contradicting yourself and need to stick to one opinion rather than changing your thoughts

Pre-season 10th Region Baseball
I do not completely agree with this comment. As I do agree that their talent level will not be anywhere close to last year's squad I do believe they will be competitive with a lot of teams in NKY. As to them not having much talent, any team would seem like that when they graduate nine seniors in which everyone of those players would have started on most of the teams in NKY. Just because they don't return much doesn't mean they have no talent all the time and in this case it just means two things. 1) That they won't have as much Varsity experience as most teams and 2) That they graduateda team full of very very good talent. It's the same thing that happened to their basketball team this year and look at what they have done. It's the same for every sport at Brossart. TRADITION NEVER GRADUATES. It's pretty safe to say that Brossart has a winning tradition and this year will not be any different.

Ready for golf season!
Since Brossart graduated their 3 top players from last year this is potentially true. Although, there are a couple players returning that with practice and dedication have the potential to develop into some very nice golfers.

Ready for golf season!
I'm not very aware of many golfers in the state and I really don't know who will be returning next year so I could not even begin to create my own list. I apologize.

Ready for golf season!
Ok so just because he ties a player once makes him a good player. You can not judge a player's talent on one match. Just because he played good one time in the whole season does not make him one of the best golfers in the state. That's all i'm saying is that he may be a decent player for your team but not one of the best in NKY and definitely not one of the best in the state. Oh and by the way CCHS how are the golf scholorships coming along. Have you made any decisions yet?

All "A" Rd. 2 University Heights vs Bishop Brossart
How can you say that Mason is not that much better. Yea Brossart did lose to them by 35 and yea it was in the MCIT which makes it that much harder. Do you have any idea how hard it is to beat Mason at home for any game, and with it being in the MCIT that makes it even harder. You obviously have no clue what it takes to play them in their own tournament. So you can't compare games here. As for it being a 30 point loss, I do not believe that will be the case. I know it will be tough for the Mustangs to pull it out but who knows. They have a couple good things working for them. They are improving every time they step on that floor, they have one of the best coaching staffs in the state, they play great defense, and most of all the amount of confidence that they are playing with right now could lead to a very good game. Either way it goes I look for this to be a very good game and very close. I know Brossart can pull it off and yes it will be very difficult to do but hey thats what everyone said about St Pats and Lexington Christian and look what happened in those games. GO MUSTANGS!!!!!

Hey camel.... you are wearing me out with your flip flopping on the issues. You are the one who keeps bouncing from 2006 to 2007. I only started talking about 2006 when you did. You stuck your foot in your mouth when you said "I was at the tournament and I loved seeing them miss out by one shot" I'm not sure where you got your definition of Rivalry, but it is not a subtle hate. It is clear to me that writing back and forth with you is going no where (You can’t rationalize with irrational people) I think you have all the qualities of a past high school player who never amounted to anything. I apologize if I am wrong, but I don’t think I am...... Again, In the end, all that matters is the "team". How many State Tournaments have you been to ??? nuff said

We had never played Laurel Oaks either but we got the job done, not a very good excuse for your lack of performance when it matters. And this thread was started about the 2007 regionals. Check your sources.

Region 9 Golf Results (Boys)
Conference was played at AJ Jolly in 2006. Last year (2007) was the first year it was played at Hickory Sticks and Niemeyer was not on the team due to the fact that he graduated after the 2006 season. Therefore it is not possible to tie him at Hickory Sticks in conference because he never played a conference tournament there. I also believe that striker said he beat the crap out of everyone in 2006 which is true. I believe he medaled 9 times in a row at one point in the season and he tied the all time record for medals in a season with 10. So I would say he had a bigger part on that team than anyone else. If Clint Kohls was the only reason that we went to state then I guess you are saying that one person can carry the whole team to state. If I remember there are 4 scores used to deterimne the teams score not just one. Also since you are saying that one guy can take histeam all the way to state by himself, "if" and I mean "if" you are as good as you say you are, then why is it that your team did not go to state with what has to be one of the best players ever to play the game. I mean if you beat Niemeyer and you never lost to anyone in the season then you must be one of the best and you should be able to lead your team to state just like Clint and Niemeyer did.

I do not remember my conference score nr do I care about my own individual performance. The only thing that matters is the team score and I belve my team beat your team and that's all that matters.
