RAM ATTACK

just a school in the hills of dayton. Out in the corn fields. LOL.. and they are not talking to Ohio State, they are going to Michigan, Penn State, Cincinnati, Nebraska, and Purdue, for the ones who have decided. There are 6 more with offers, who have not committed yet. This will be a monumental test for the Rams, I know Highlands will be well prepared, and will certainly be ripped up for the game, knowing that they can knock off the team will all the D-1 kids. I am sure their coaches will play that up to them, about David vs Goliath........etc.... I dont see it that way, Highlands has a TON of tradition and success. I look for a good game, and hope that the Rams can just keep up.

Who is this Trotwood-Madison you speak of?

So it seems that your QB was a LB and was made a QB last yr. Was pretty much a Running Back playing QB. But was a better player at LB. Is that the jist of it all? I thought there was a Guidugli in the program that plays QB? Seems like a no brainer unless he is not like the other Guidugli's

Who do they play 9.2.07 ........ Thanks guys. appreciate the link.

who does highlands play before TM. I know KY gets to be in pads now, so you will have a month of pads over us. Just curious to see who the 1st games are for both teams. TM has Marion Franklin, who had been 9-1 the past 3 yrs.

This is what the AAU generation has brought upon us. AAU should be dropped and kids ruled ineligbile for playing it. It represents everything wrong with prep sports. There is way too much $$ going around for these AAU teams.

Not the UK passing tourney, but Today, Trotwood-Madison played 4 other teams. And was missing their top WR, who was on vacation, along with one of their WR starters from last season who has been out with a foot injury. TM 60 Colonel White 12 TM O - scored the first 3 plays of the game TM D - 3 INT TM 72 Dunbar 0 TM O- Not one pass hit the gtound TM D - 6 INT TM 68 Cleveland Heights 0 TM O - Not one pass hit the ground TM D - 1 INT TM 54 Richmond (IN) 0 TM O - 6 different WR scored TM D - 2 INT Colonel White scored on 2 long passes one the DB fell, and the other was a great catch in traffic.

I know that the only reason they went was because Ohio State was pulling the trigger on 3 of their players. Coach Douglass played for UK, and I know he was excited to be going back to Lexington. I hear that he talks of UK very fondly. TM was not an average team anywhere.....The UK trip would have been a great expierence for the kids, they had planned on staying overnight in the dorms and being there friday and saturday. 3-1 TM won all their games by a easy margin. The last game was a loss, but they played their backups almost exclusively. The Day started with TM scoring on 6 of their first 8 plays. Vs Kilbourne, and then Beating St. Francis, NY by a wide margin. The games were out of control, until TM wholesale subbed their young players in, the third game was vs Athletes with Purpose from Indiana. And that wasn't a game until TM rolled the Sophmores into the game. The last game vs Northmont was neck and neck, with TM taking the lead in the second set of plays, but TM coaches as was the sign all day, Subbed in the Sophmores in the third set of plays. And Northmont won the game by 4 points.

Yes, as stated above, They went to Ohio State. And the Buckleyes offered 3 Rams after the tourney. QB Britt, TE/WR Moore, and RB Shaw. Moore and Britt are committed to Michigan adn UC, and Shaw will soon commit to Penn St or Michigan. So I doubt OSU gets any of these guys.

LOL........ CLASSIC! I hope we all run into you Highlands folks for the pregame stuff. You all seem like a fun bunch.

^^^ When the enquirer lists the games they have all the Ohio teams first except for TM. I understand they are trying to sell papers, but its an Ohio event not a Cincinnati event. OK, Off my soapbox. Back to things we can control.

I love how the Cincinnati Enquirer Makes Trotwood the only Ohio team listed like an out of state team.....LOL

Just found out that Trotwood will NOT be at UK this weekend. Instead they are going to Ohio State. On Friday and Saturday. Seems that the Buckeyes are hot on three Trotwood Players. And have been pushing hard for the Rams to come to their place instead of going out of state to UK. Ohio State is an invitation only elite tourney. I guess the Rams will have to wait until week 2 to see what Kentucky football is all about.

will highlands be going to UK next weekend?

Huh?

LOL.....Na, they will be fine. Just saying that it will be their 6th day of action for them. they will easily handle almost every team there. Not trying to sound cocky. But having 4 BCS kids on Offense, and And currently 3 on Defense then, they should be able to stand up to most teams.

I know that the the folks at Trotwood are getting anxious to start prep for their season. Since they get out of school later and have a week off at the start of the summer, TM will not start until June Monday 18th. So hopefully they won't look too rusty at UK.

isn't henry Clay the team with that WR Boyd?

Trotwod-Madison from Ohio is going to be there and was interested in who all would be there from Kentucky? This will be TM first action of the summer, so they will be rusty. But looking for a good day.

Will Manual be going to UK's 7-on-7 on the 22nd and 23rd?

Well, I guess you will get to watch the TM Freshmen scrimmage Colerain Freshmen on the 11th. The rest of Trotwood will be going down the night before to see the varsity and JV scrimmage. TM Schedule for August

Expectations are VERY high this season. In the past its been a lack of quality assistant coaches. Good players, average to poor coaches. Last year they hired accomplished OC and DC to come in and revamp everything. Going from a Pro set to Spread, and becoming more aggressive on D. They did well last year, but as stated there was multiple injuries especially on the O-Line and at RB and that really hurt them. Plus it being the first year in the new systems also hurt, but was a necessary step in program development. Both coordinators were pursued for head coaching jobs but stayed because of this year and the direction of this program. Adding a new special teams coordinator, and a couple of other position coaches, they are really geared up for big things. They now have one of the top QB coaches in Ohio to go with the #1 QB in Ohio. And one of the top Special Teams Coaches in the Dayton area. Almost every position has 2 coaches except, QB, RB, WR. 2 Former Head Coaches, 6 who have been Coordinators before, and 2 former NFL players. So in short, the coaching issue should not be an issue anymore. These Coord along with Douglass have been able to get other coaches to follow after last season where they were MUCH improved. As always I lok for a great game,. I know that Highlands is WELL established, and will be a great opponent for TM. In a great event like the Herbie

Whats going on August 11th?

As everyone Knows Domonick Britt made it official today. He will be at camp recruiting players the staff wants. etc. 3rd BCS Commit for TM this year. Everyone is very happy here in Trotwood. He will coninue the Trotwood legacy at UC, following RB Greg Moore.

Not sure if its been posted on here but; WR/TE - Brandon Moore Committed to Michigan. And will also play some DE this season as well. WR - Roy Roundtree Committed to Purdue. And Will also be playing some FS this season as well at different times. RB - Michael Shaw is down to three schools. Penn State, Michigan, and Tennessee. With Nebraska on the outside. All have offered. Look for a committment soon. DT/OL - Ike Washington will be committing to Purdue in the next week or 2. And QB Domonick Britt will be choosing between UC and WVU. And should decide soon as well. And the same for Jamiihr Williams LB. Look for them to go to the same spot.
