Not a KY team, But Trotwood-Madison will be down at Univ. of Kentucky for their 2 day 7-on-7 event. June 22 and 23rd. Who else is going to that event? Maybe we will see Highlands?

TM's special teams issues were last year ONLY. The past years TM has had impecible special teams. So last season was just one of those years, instead of the norm. I am sure they will have their stuff in order this year.

Yeah, I know. I looked back and I did not see anything. Something was off, but It was probably everyone just assuming TM is a team fo undisciplined kids who have a ton of talent but somehow don't play as a team.....LOL Our rivals, Northmont, always has stuff like that to say. Its very aggravating. How soon they foget the years where we rolled them up and they were going 0-10, 0-10, 2-8, 3-7, 1-9. Thats probably where that comes from. You can bet on it. TM will throw the ball quite a bit. Very much like UC will do now under Kelly. Of course when you have the best QB in Ohio, it makes sense to keep the ball in his hands as much as possible.

Yes it is Hyphenated. Trotwood-Madison. We are actually called the Runnin' Rams BUT as you will see that name is not acurate of our offense. LOL But we do go by Rams. But the old timers say Runnin Rams Still.

Toothpick: You are exactly right, 2006 was 2006. On to 2007, which looks to be the year of the Ram. I fully expect Highlands to be a formidable opponent, who will push TM, as usual when you get good teams playing each other. Honestly I think many Highlands and NKY fans are thinking that since TM is not Elder/Colerain/X/Moeller that it somehow means Highlands will win rather easily. But I must say that TM is turning a corner much like Coletain did, under Coombs. TM has been a slepping Giant for years in Dayton. Dayton gets over shadowed by Cincinnati when you talk Southwest Ohio Football. However when Cincy teams come to Dayton to play Dayton teams they lose. Including Elder/X/Moeller/LaSalle. All beaten by Dayton teams in Dayton. And Colerain has lost the last 2 times in Dayton they have played to Columbus teams. If you have not noticed those schools DO NOT come to Dayton to play.

You are correct, Special teams, punting in particular was their achillies heel last year. their punter was injured in 2-a-days pretty bad (collar bone) and was out for the season. So it was a make shift punters. Discipline has not been an issue, just horrid luck on special teams last yr. Return men, and punters.

Actually I expect most of the Northmont crowd to stay since TM and Northmont are Rivals. And the league championship will come down to those two teams most likely. It would be like if Cov Cath played early, I am sure you guys would show up early and they would stay after. Having the Colerain Hoover game in the middle will be good because seeing Hoover, with their exposure from MTV.

I would always root for an Ohio team. So I ttoally uinderstand your KY pride. I will say that I imagine that Highlands will be my favorite KY team after Sept 2nd. LOL
