Elliott for sure!! It's been rumored around that all the tickets available are already accounted for and they don't even go on sale until Monday. I know LOTS of people that have gone on Ticketmaster and purchased their own tickets just to make sure they're there!

I'm sure a lot of teams are on that same mission but EC has fought against 2/3 of the state all year to prove themselves as a contender. It's only been in the last month (or so) that posters on here have acknowledged their ability/capability even though rankings from across the state have ranked them anywhere from #1-#11 all season long.

I believe all that was all prior to EC playing (and beating might I add) Ballard and Mason. There were ALOT of people that acknowledged Elliott as a contender after those two games.

In the last game, Elliott didn't make a fantastic showing (shots etc). With the rest and excitement/anticipation of the Sweet 16, I'll say Elliott by 12. EC is on a mission and they won't stop until they accomplish it!

I believe the announcer made a couple of "fumbles" before he got things straight!! I think there were as many upset people on the Elliott side over it as there were from Lewis County. I would have expected better on the Championship game. I kept watching Lewis tonight to see if that young man (sorry . . . I don't know his name) would pull out another half court + bomber (really I had hoped he would have because it was SO GREAT last night). Congrats Lewis . . . you ended your season making history for your team and county!! :ylsuper:

I can't necessarily agree with your last statement but you are definately entitled to your own opinion. I was surprised that (with the talent at East this year) they didn't necessarily rise to their potential. I guess it's like the old saying goes . . . Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

Or be willing to pay an arm and leg for them. I'd say there are people out there that get tickets just for that purpose. What a way to make some money for spring break!!
