I can promise you, there are more people that leave after graduation and say, 'there is no way ill send my kids there'; than there are that come back and raise their family there. Plenty. But, you have your opinion and I have mine. Just because they are not the same does not mean there is an axe to grind. Something tells me u are drinking their Kool-Aid. Teachers and admins turn over there. Quality families stay.

Are you telling me that all the kids that play for Highlands are from Ft. Thomas? If so, that is impressive.

Politics are at every school but I agree with more of an opportunity for playing time.

IMO, the program is down. It is not what it use to be. The can't get past Mayfield and now are having trouble with Frankfort. Academics start at home with a solid base there. I believe that the school takes too much credit for what the families do for their kids in that community. If you are not a stud athlete or a top of the line A student, you will get buried there. I guess a draw would be the fact that if you were a freshman, and knowing that Mayfield is moving to AA; there is a chance of winning a championship again if they can get by Frankfort. Who knows? I just don't get it. A bit overrated in my book.

1- Dayton High School has kids that live in Dayton KY. Catholic schools has kids that are from anywhere. 2- Again, I will go back to the kid from Ohio that played for Holy Cross. What is right about that? Hence, different set of rules. Why else would X and Trinity dominate in football? Because they are allowed to get kids from anywhere. Do you not follow HS sports? C'mon man! How many kids from Cov Cath Basketball team live in Park Hills?

Let me see how to answer all these silly questions. I believe I said 'Tricks of the trade'; not tricks. As far as I know, 'Tricks on the trade', to me, means know how to get around issues. No, I absolutely do not believe that Cov Cath has agents luring them to come play sports in Park Hills. I never said that. Are you trying to tell me something? At the end of the day, a person is not allowed to transfer one school and go to another and continue to play the following year. Plain and simple. They are supposed to sit out a year. I get a sneaky suspicion that young Mr. Floyd will do this. It simply is not fair to the other schools. How does the Catholic schools get away with this? It is a lot like the kid from Ohio playing basketball for Holy Cross. Again, Catholic schools get away with murder when it comes to things like this. Oh yea, and no, I do not believe that catholic individuals actually go out and kill people and get away with it. Sorry you disagree. But, it is what it is.
