After speaking with several officials today. The player in question is eligible to compete in any event with his school and the board and school officials which in turns makes them eligible under the KHSAA. Every event in the state of Kentucky is sanctioned under the KHSAA not the school hosting the event. If the player in question was not allowed to participate it would have violated their civil rights.

The decision to let the athlete stay and play in the game. Delayed the start of the second half.

Nothing was said until halftime and everything broke loose.
