mcpapa Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Final. Anyone surprised by the margin, particularly given the recent win against Bishop Brossart?
All In Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Augusta loses to the likes of Silver Grove and now Bracken by this humiliating score, but beats Bishop Brossart:confused:
polarbear1994 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Bracken looked strong tonight and led wire to wire. Augusta got within a possession a few times early, but no serious threats after the halfway point of the 1st qtr. I had a blast tonight!
JPP Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 (edited) From what I've seen from both teams, I for one am shocked! Edited February 14, 2009 by Ram Rule 13
Polar Cat Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 It is amazing what a little DEFENSE can do. Great job Bears!!!!:dancingpa

Rolls-Royce Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 It looks like Bracken is playing their best ball at the right time of year. Coach Breeze is really doing a good job over there in his first year as a head coach. I look for them to beat St. Patrick in the District and make the Regional Tournament for the first time in a long time. As for Augusta, I find it hard to believe they did not come ready to play against their arch rival. I think they just ran into a buzzsaw tonight and then they layed down a little bit.

Milfordflash Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 They played tough on both ends of the floor. Craft was making some sweet moves in the post! You mean they were throwing the ball in to the post? What a great idea. I didn't know they could do that.:ohbrother:

Strong Stament there Rolls, considering Bracken had a 18 point lead on St. Patrick and let it slip away! Only time will tell what will happen. Bracken vs Augusta is always a intense game and the better team does'nt always win!!! That is just the facts!!!
All In Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Is there any reason Bracken County won by this amount? This has to be one of the biggest margins of victory in the series for some time. Even when the teams were awful, this game was always close. Coach Kelsch should have had a 2 hour practice with lots of running involved after the bus reached Augusta last night.
