I'm picking Bracken and Bourbon to move on in close games

Anyone know if concessions will be sold and can you bring you own cooler with water,sandwiches,etc?

Bourbon won't be throwing Mullins, they'll be saving him for Harrison County, so BC has a chance. they played Bourbon close earlier this season fairly close without Mullins throwing and Mason County beat them as well

Have many,many great friends in Mason County and several posters(yourself included) from Mason County who I always enjoy the opinion of and hearing from. Mason County has and always will be the bar that Bracken County shoots for, as well as of late Bishop Brossart because of being an A school.

They still have a good senior class in place for next season, but an athlete like McClain at the QB made everyone better on offense and defense, Things will really be tough after next season, even if they brought Bill Cowher in to Coach.

Congrats to Coach 'Scooter Charles' and the boys for TCOB in the district finals, they knocked on the door last year, kicked it in this year. Enjoy this thru the weekend and hopefully there is another win or two in this team with some confidence going now. Does anyone know when the last time anybody else won the district besides MC?

I would rather be short-gamed during the regular season to Bishop Brossart( if people on here are still stuck on that one victory than lose to Mason County at any time(especially district finals). They can erase this with a couple of victories in the regional tournament though, so there is still that. Good luck LB's and right the ship next week.

Please tell me he doesn't yell and scream constantly on the sidelines and grand stand like Coach Breeze did at Bath County.

Just have to get the right players in the right positions on offense and defense. Hopefully Coach has something up his sleeve for the QB position.

Didn't some players from Augusta sign there over the years? Don't know if they went though. Would like to compile a list of Bracken County,Augusta and Mason County kids that sign at colleges but either never go or leave after a year or semester

Mustang, were you able to see the Bracken-Brossart final? The score was very close and just wanted your opinion on how the Bears looked. How's things up in extreme Northern Ky.?, by the way.

How did Bracken County look in the championship game? They always seem to play Brossart close over the past few years, but can't get over the hump. Didn't Nicholas get any rain, thought this game would be cancelled as seemed everyone in this area had all day rain?

Who coached Bath County previously and why did he leave?

Didn't the Feldhaus girl(think she was a catcher) also go to NKU around that time on a softball scholarship?

Lady Bears are rolling big time in this early season(without Sara), how well do you think they stackup in the region at this point?

I know dozens of big-time UK fans(mostly the above 40 year old crowd) that never watch a UK game live because it makes them nervous, mad,superstition,etc. I'll see them at Wal-Mart, out mowing,etc. during all of the important games. One guy told me his wife went to the bathroom and UK took the lead in a tournament game last year and he made her stay in the bathroom until the game was over and she watched thru a crack in the door. When Pitino says UK fans will jump off bridges if they lose, he is right on the mark. I would say in the older crowd the percentage is high because they think they will jinx UK if they watch. A lot of people won't admit this because of how it sounds, but know it is true

That's only true if your a UK fan, if that is Duke, UNC,Louisville,etc, its the officials,Calipari-bias or something else. Will just be glad when UK wins this thing so can move on to baseball season

If UK shoots 20-25 more free throws than Louisville like they have done in the last two games, the Cards or no one stands a chance. If this was Duke, UK fans would be saying the fix is on with the oficials,ESPN, UPS, Vitale or whatever other ignorance they can think of. The field has no chance, UK are as good as national champs.

If you can't beat Mason County in the Regional Tournament on your home floor with more talent, your gone, wouldn't be surprised if decision was that simple and made that night. To hear everyone on these boards, that gym was built for one reason,to beat Mason County at its own game and if you can't even do that...........................well.

This is what everyone wants on these boards, nobody wants winter or even fall or spring, so I say suck it up,everyone wants to get that precious golf game in 12 months a year. Wait till we get those 60 days in a row of plus 95-100 degrees like Texas had last year, that's what looks like is coming with already 30 degree above normal temps for this time of year. Let's get the swimming pools open before Easter.
