  1. Which is best in the Northern Ky, area? Menu, service, parking, etc.?
  2. So when the Reds only draw an announced crowd of 20,000 on Monday-Wednesday games, there's really only 12-15 thousand there, right? or does this only apply to other teams in the division?:confused:Have the Reds had a crowd above 30,000 for a Monday or Tuesday game? Anyone? I really don't know. They did have the best record in baseball for awhile there, Brewers way out of it
  3. If they collapse like last season, the Brewers wouldn't even have to do that good. It's a stretch, Pirates need another bat, Brewers just playing out the season. What amazed me about their weekday games against the Reds was drawing 30-40 thousand a game and being completely out of any kind of race, so the support is there to keep them from completely tanking:idunno:
  4. The Pirates will not be a factor by the end of this month, Brewers will eventually pass them, I don't look for either wild cards to come from this division
  5. Give us updates on how things are going or post after the game if you can. Thanks.
  6. How this team without Votto and you might as well say Bruce for a month did things that the Big Red Machine and other better Reds teams never did going back into the 1800's is a bigger mystery than Stonehendge. Win or lose this team has only two players worth paying the price of a ticket, (Votto and Chapman) and Chapman hasn't pitched since he hit McCutcheon accidently and unintentionally in the shoulder. Rolen is my second favorite player on the team
  7. Don't know much about either right now, how do these two matchup in their scrimmage tommorrow night
  8. How many strikeouts and do you just present the ticket stub or how do they know at LaRosa's?
  9. Has anyone here ever won the free LaRosa pizza slice and UDF ice cream cone because of strikeouts?
  10. And eat and drink. There are people that will stand in the one dollar hot dog line for an hour
  11. That was just my opinion, but don't think there is any competition in the NL(Nationals???), Rangers,White Sox and Angels stand in the way of a WS trophy, but anyone on here has to admit everything as went the Reds way the whole season
  12. The best thing about a message board is to vent complaints, but in the case of the Reds there is absolutely nothing to complain about:madman:, they are in cruise control until the World Series. I actually don't foresee anyone giving them any competition in the NL Playoffs. To be in the position they are in without Votto for a month+, no offense from Bruce for the entire summer practicallly, no true leadoff hitter, no Masset or Madsen. Are you kidding me? Sometimes things are just meant to be from the get-go and these Reds are World Series bound, probably against the Rangers, but for some reason I think it will be the White Sox. Their plan has worked all year, just get 4-5 runs(if that),have your starter go 6-7 innings without giving up that amount and then things are lights out from there. Chapman reminds me of Goose Gossage, just overpowering. It shocks me at this point that major leaguers are not hitting his fastball, because that is all he has got. I guess what they say is true, all major leaguers can hit the 95-98mph fastball, when your above that, it is unhittable. The only person that beats Chapman is Chapman, with off the field incidents, etc. Can't complain about Dusty, Stubbs, Rolen, Ludwick anymore, gonna be a boring two months until the playoffs,
  13. So glad someone posted this because the Reds always seemed to play scared and not composed after the 'incident' in 2010. Now they have flipped the switch and they are the LaRussa Cards. The Pirates have completely missed the boat this weekend on payback and mind games and I could see them falling into 4th place before month's end. Burnett(if he even pitches now) will obviously get thrown out now if he hits someone, which puts the Reds 2 up in that department, so with no Stars to hit because we all know Phillips is not going to play and the series is over you have to go after the team's opposing pitcher(Bailey) when he bats, in the arm(left) or wrist area during his second at bat and then get thrown out. That's just old school baseball and if you don't play that game your done, which the Pirates are anyway.
  14. Just want no "over reaction" from the fans when Rolen,Phillips, etc. takes one off the melon tonight, remember who started this and hope fully Cueto has learned how to fight without kicking someone with his spikes while they are on the ground
  15. C'mon Clyde, thought you were with me on this, now your teetering on the fence. One inch and he takes that pitch in the jaw at 100+ and it was a purpose pitch because the next 3 were right down the middle of the plate. I mean Reds fans, REALLY. Be a fan, but c'mon.
  16. Your kidding, right? The upper shoulder last time I checked was pretty close to the head, anyway enough anatomy. Am a Reds fans, but don't like ANY pitcher going anywhere above the waist for a purpose pitch. Still don't like Cueto and never will for him trying to kick someone with his spikes during the Reds-Cards brawl, that kind of stuff rubs me the wrong way. As for thinking twice about it, Chapman started it, if I'm Hurdle I finish it and hope Chapman retaliates and gets a weeks suspension or something
  17. The Pirate fan that caught Latos home run was priceless.
  18. The Pirates have starters and relievers that can bring it 95-98, if Phillips starts tommorow, he'll get it at head level,if not him, then Bruce. you just can't hit a team's star up around the head. Surprised no one even talking about this at all
  19. Don't be surprised if Phillips or another Reds player gets one up around the head tomorrow or Sunday after that pitch by Chapman, would be shocked if nothing happenend. Hurdle won't let him get by with that, intentional or not.
  20. Anyone know when gates open for a concert? Are they open all day? is there a charge?
  21. A young Ryan Leaf, pampered from middle school on is what have been hearing
  22. Exactly how early will they let you in to the Riverbend parking lot for a concert that starts at 7? Do gates always open early for concerts?
  23. Are Popeye's like that in general or are there some good ones out there?
