WV has been very fortunate to get the transfers they have gotten regardless of the circumstances. But, if you could put those transfers on Owen Co., Grant Co., Gallatin Co., Williamstown, Carroll Co., etc..., they would be near the top of the Region and WV would be an average team. With that being said, WV will be very good this year. I look for Sandlin to have a breakout year. She has the ability to lead the team in scoring.

Wells from Shelby or Collins (unsure where she is at) is close to the top if not the very top player in the region. Kid can play. Wainscott can do so much (score, handle the ball, defend) is why I think she is deserving.

How many transfers has Walton gotten in the last 3-4 years? Seems like at least 4 to 5.

Surprosing hire. Looks like Hicks doesn't stay anywhere for a very long period of time. Look for him to be gone within 3 years.

I would say Plunkett probably burnt that bridge when he left Williamstown for Grant Co, last year.

Barb (that some of the pictures are in reference to), is the Bus Driver and Lady Demon Book Keeper. On 12/28, she had surgery for breast cancer. This was the first game that she had been to since her surgery. It was a very emotional and special night night for her as well as all others that were there. Like paNDA stated, sometimes the score don't matter.

Final from Williamstown in a game played for Cancer Awareness. All coaches wore their "Suits and Sneakers" and the teams wore pink shooting shirts. All money raised will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Williamstown Junior Guard Chelsea West scored her 1000th point tonight in a 57 - 41 win against Trimble County. Good job.

West had 20 (18 in the 4th quarter) and Wilhoit had 16 with 12 rebounds. Very ugly and physical game. A total of 7 players fouled out with a couple more with 4 fouls each.

If you comsider Walton and Williamstown NKY, add Dixon from Walton and Wilhoit from Williamstown. Hill from Gallatin, Bartels and Turner from NCC come to mind also.

Probably be as many GC people than WV. Should be a good one. Going with Gallatin by 3 due to their experience is All A Championship game.

Since both feet and the ball did not make contact in the front court, I think the ref blew this one.

Boone will be very hard to beat. They have a solid point guard, good shooters and a strong inside game. Highlands has the potential to play with them, but has to contain their outside shooting. NCC can contain their guards, but will need help defending Davis and Moss. You can't stop Tibbs. She is too big and athletic. You have to take the Marovich (sp) approach, let her get hers and stop everyone else. Top up and coming players, I would start with Fischer from Connor. Playing very well this year. I didn't hear a whole lot about her last year, but seems to be playing extremely well right now. Theim and Bartels from NCC seem to be picking up their play also. I know these girls are not freshmen or sophs, but we are starting to hear things from them.

When she is their stud player, very easily. There could have been other things that could also hurt the program (new coach, player graduation, player turmoil, etc...), but when one of your best players to play for the school leaves, that is a huge lose. Looking back on Ryle's records (if my timing is right) when Dailey was there vs. when she left, my point may have a little validity. They went 13-13 in 01-02, 12-16 in 02-03, 3-22 in 03-04 (first year at Boone I believe) then 8-14. Ryle could have graduated some good players during that time, but I can't recall them at this time.
