This will be a tough year for the Polar Bears but I'd tell the kids not to get discouraged and just to go out and play their game no matter what the outcome is.

It's going to be an interesting season for the Class A.

What happens if you lose one of your "scorers" to sickness, injury, ect. then you would have to rely and someone else to fill their shoes. I'm not saying everyone on the team has to score the same amount but you have to have other options. IMO a role player is your greatest asset because every night they are there doing their job and they don't get the recognition of the "scorer"

Oh I remember them losing alot from their team last year. We(Deming) had to play them at region and they were deep, but I would think with such a competitive team they would have players that step in and fill the shoes of their graduated players.

Who started for Bracken County? If I remember correctly this team is mainly underclassmen.

Same here I never would have imagined anything like this.

The help is there, I didn't seen them play but I heard that the game resembled a bad NBA game. Dribble down the court and shoot. The "twins" are only two players and it takes 5 to play. I'm not knocking the King boys but it seems that nobody has faith in the other players on the team. Deming could do something if they would come together as a team and not worry about how many points one scores.

No Campbell was the freshman, he has alot of talent and probably is their best this year. I beleive the players you are referring to graduated last year.

As for the game I'm not sure who will win because I know nothing of Dayton but Bracken has a tough group of underclassmen(not disrespect to the jr's and sr's) so I'm sure they will have alot of fight in them.

He did Bracken lost 4 seniors last year in Smith, Hamilton, Cooper, and Hall

One player that I think will step up for Deming is Caleb Curtis. He's a hardnosed player who if given the chance can play some ball(you don't have to score to make an impact). I think he is probably the most underrated player on the Devils ball team and sometimes I feel he is overlooked.

Not sure how good Bourbon is but I say Deming wins it at home 54-50

Even though I don't want to admit it I think Augusta will win by 10-15...Augusta has a pretty good team this year and I think they will be too much inside.

Rivals has UK, Indiana, Louisville, and Xavier listed.

Any info on Deming wanted to go watch but I couldn't get off work.
