If you are Jamey Johnson would you start Nathan Mitchell before Rex Schalch? No disrespect to Schalch but I just don't think he's ready to start Varsity. I'd give Mitchell the chance to prove himself and see if things work out.

After two games I wouldn't say they stand out, they looked good but until they play every Class A team I wouldn't make any assumptions.

Won't be Deming and St. Pat battling for the championship because they play each other in the first round...

I'm not sure what is happening in Augusta but I hope they straighten it out because they have enough talent on that team to play better than they are showing.

I also saw that Jonathan Pilosky sp?? and Calvin Schalch were on the jv team last night. Both looked as if they were extremely nervous but in time they could put in quality minutes

He has the potential to drive and make shots but he has to be smart and realize that when he has big men that can contest shots he has to settle for the 15 foot jumpshot.

I think your right I think Grause could bulk up a little but he has to want to and the coaches have to push him to strive for his fullest potential.

What he lacks is an outside shot. Like I said before he is just too small to drive into the paint against players like Bourbon had(#40 and 50 in particular)

I got there in the middle of the JV game but the Varsity game was a treat to watch. I said that Caleb Curtis would step up and I would take 9 points from him anyday. I thought the defensive pressure was pretty intense. Another player I would like to see more of is Nathan Mitchell, even though he had a tough last year I know what he is capable of doing on the ball court. Congrats to the Devils and goodluck Tuesday!!!

I hate that the girls and boys play on the same night. With the boys game at home it pulls alot of the fans away from the girls game but I don't schedule the games. As for the game I have no clue of Covington Latin but I know the Lady Devils will come ready to play. Goodluck ladies.
